I think you should read what you post on the forums first before you read any books. Otherwise you might find that your head hurts while reading a book after the first few pages.

Other good books include
The curious incident of the dog in the night time, the spy who came in from the cold, the day of the jackal, ranger’s apprentice series, The Loop.

If you’re into classics/popular books then go for lord of the flies, to kill a mocking bird, great expectation.

Agree with several posters that 1984 and animal farm are terrific reads.

I’ve also recently bought The Alchemist. Looking forward to reading it.

I haven't read all the series but what i have read (4-5 I believe, it's been years), I think it's not bad.

The Ranger's Apprentice Series, and it's spin-off series the Brotherband Chronicles are both excellent.

100% recommend both of these. and sorry if I give any recommendations already given. I haven't read through every single post.

1.-as stated above, ranger's apprentice/brotherband chronicles(highly recommend)

2-The inheritance series(a bit more challenging, overall probably 3000 pages in 4 books)but very amazing! First book is Eragon.(I see this has been suggested)

3a.-five kingdoms-very nice, fairly easier read(similar-ish to Percy Jackson, but without gods)

3b.-beyonders-see above, but slightly longer(same as above)

3c.-fablehaven-mythcial demons and mythical animals. see above 2(same as above ,but very, very mythical)

3ca.-dragonwatch, follow-up of fablehaven

4.-Lord of the rings(you probably know this)

5.-wings of fire-dragons, easy read, enjoyable, but slightly more for Pre-teen than teens.

6.The Familiars(not bad, but I don't personally own it)

numbers=my order

And if you haven’t read it, magnus chase:gods of asgard(from rick riordan) it is amazing! Snarky, adventurous, action, awesomeness incarnate!)

Oh, btw, I read all the same books was you. I have all the Percy Jackson series, trials of Apollo, Kane Chronicles, most of warriors series(the first 6), harry potter. Haven't read magyk though

The “Among the Hidden” series, there’s a lot & they’re pretty good. 7 in total I think.

The Unwanteds is really good, I read it a few years back and got enticed very quickly. Ooh also a series of unfortunate events is great. (Both of these are what I consider semi dystopian). Oh and also the last apprentice (if you have enough patience for a good 16 books and can deal with moderate horror)

Have you ever heard of 'A Wrinkle in Time'? I haven't watch
the movie but the book of it is cool. I'm still reading it ('cause I'm 12) and just like what I said, it's cool!
I believe it's a series.
A Wrinkle in Time is:
  1. Sci-Fi
  2. Adventure
  3. Love(Kind of)

The Truth Trap spoke to me.

No, it's not innocent or playful like the Parent Trap.

Short read, so might be up your alley.
