Honestly, I left thins game in favor of Fallen London simply because of how long it takes to actually get somewhere. At least with Fallen London you know you're getting somewhere and that increasing your stats actually means something. In this game.... Not so much.

It takes way too long to get anywhere and there isn't enough content to make it worth a major time investment from me.

Meh, for sure, it's not for everyone, but I have seen people accomplish things really young. Really just depends on what the "somewhere" you want to get to is.

I wasted a lot of time and a lot of chances, but I still have a set of "before age 1k" goals that I'd like to aim for.

And most people here have quit Torn. *shrug* Again, it's not for everyone. I know firsthand how boring it can get when you have no purpose.

Are you using your email? Torn should be logged in with emails instead of usernames nowadays.

why the fuck is everyone only playing fl after my thread was purged

ALSO LOL stats in fl are pretty meaningless after you get past earlygame since gear is ez and menaces arent a problem in the slightest

but its personal taste, fl is fairly linear and is story based with nothing to do endgame but grind endlessly for increasingly pointless goal, while torn is a game for the long run with theoretically infinite progression with a focus on community. fl is fantastic but very much a different game from torn

Over 20 referrals that I can't identify over the past year, including 6 over level 5 (out of which at least two are active daily) who I'd like to know and potentially help if they're genuinely interested in the game. ._.
