Because it's not, Avvelenatore in Italian is quite literally translated into "Poisoner", and the mafia is technically Italian decent, so it fits very well. I really like how literal the name is
This role is very well made and I like it!
Thanks! (and yeah, I was surprised the name exists)
WindBlqde wrote:This role is very well made, kind of a reverse doctor for the mafia, which is pretty cool. One problem: this has been suggested before a a town support but they heal everyone besides like one time that they can poison someone. But this is kind of different than that so I'd say that this is one of the best roles I've seen out there.
A reverse Doctor is technically a killing role, because the opposite of heal is kill. Anyway, thanks for your feedback!

Thanks! By the way, how is this role similar to the Consort?
Also, I added the list already.

That's the best I could come up with.
It shouldn't take away ret's revive or medium's seance. Keep that the way you have it.
Taking away one of mayor's votes? I could go for this. Others may disagree.
Why can't it just be called chef?
Overall, I like the role. I would like playing as this.
Do you think that the poisoned player should receive a feedback about being poisoned?
They will know regardless once they know they are missing something.
Ya know let them figure that out on their own. I mean if you are poisoned you're probably not going to know right away unless you're dying on the spot.
In which case RIP.
The problem is that, if this role was added in the game, there would be numerous reports in Bug Reports because they lost 1 ability when they didn't know there was an Avvelenatore.
You make a good point. Let them know they were poisoned then.
Added it.

Framer only needs one mafia role pls.
Done!

I suggest the message is, "You ate some mysterious food you found. You were poisoned." I really like the role and I like that it is limited because it is super powerful. If you fail to poison someone when they're in jail, do you lose 1 poisoning?
Made the message to: "You feel sick when you ate your food. You have been poisoned!" You do not lose 1 poisoning if your target was in jail. Thanks for your feedback!
Skulomania wrote:I like it. Although I kind of need more information on what it removes exactly.
Does it only remove roles with charges (limited uses) or does it also remove abilities? Because you have there that it removes the mayor' ability (debatable) but every other role u mentioned was removing a charge. So I am just unclear if it is charge specific or extends to other non-charge abilities.
Added more information in the OP. It also affects roles that does not have any charges and it doesn't remove their abilities. However, about the Mayor is still debatable. Thanks for your feedback!

It takes away an ability usage, but does not prevent them from using their ability that night, which distances it from the consort. It also has limited uses, unlike the consort.
Thanks for the clarification. This does sound like a good role.
Thanks!

Ah i missed this, i suppose this answers my question.
In that case, i do not think it should have any effect on a mayor. Decreasing the mayor's revealed vote to 2 seems a little to ticky-tacky.
Maybe. I'm doing a poll about it.
Kirize12 wrote:What happens if there are no roles that have a limited ability left?
Matthew's Auditor better fills this niche.
Added more information.
Also, if I made it like the Auditor then it will be too overpowered for Mafia.
