Fire and fighting types are your best friends here. They can make quick work of steel types.

I don't know what else to add about the subject at hand but, Gen 2 is my favorite of all generations.
Absol is my favorite Pokemon, despite not being that great.
And I plan on getting involved with Gen 7 after I finish Omega Ruby, leaning more towards Moon right now.
