Experienced Vigilante vs Inexperienced Jailor

Personally, I believe an experienced Vigilante would perform better than a Jailor with little to no experience.

I would prefer an experienced Vigilante. Let's rephrase this question: Would you rather have someone shoot 2-3 of the 6-7 scum in the game or someone execute the unrevealed Mayor? Personally, I always prefer getting Vigilante over Jailor because I get nervous as Jailor if they use appeal to emotion.

Yeah, I'm not really sure there's something to debate here. Who wants a Jailor that has no clue what he's doing?

Voted jsailor before I read the OP. Anyway, it would depend on if I was townie or not. If I was scum, I'd rather have an inexperienced jailor and as town, an experienced vigilante.

Oooooo, smart observations.

Really, it probably depends on the Role List. Most of the time it would of course be the experienced Vigilante, but that might change depending on whether we had a Witch, how many of the evils were immune vs. killable, how much time we would have before losing voting majority, what other ways did we have of dealing with immunes etc, etc.

Nonetheless, since we're talking a hypothetical situation which probably assumes a balanced role list, I voted Vigilante.

I'll even pick an experienced Medium over inexperience Jailor. Role power can only take you so much.

I have seen many great Vigilantes that easily crippled Evil factions in the game.

Also, Scum reading and Experience matters more than the power of a role.

Edit: You should allow changing votes as at least two people before I voted jailor before reading the first post and want to change their votes
