Vanilla Ranked Practice. I roll Veteran. This should be easy because of the playstyle that I like to do now with Vet...

Spoiler: n1- I was jailed. Told jailor I was saving alerts for the endgame and told them to write me down as TK so mafia would have a chance to try and kill me. Of course, because of my name (I was Sakuya Izayoi) I was attacked in jail.

d2- L the exe made a scumslip and said that hanazo (or something with an h like that) visited a target that left last night. No mafia kills. For some reason, nobody decides to go along with my plan to hang the Exe to get rid of ne.

I whispered to Kira my role and told them that I was saving alerts as Vet.

I was saving alerts until the TP(s) had died to not make me look like vet. My no-alert strategy lasted for 4-5 nights.

Kira claims invest, there was a mayor, and what made me susp of Kira potentially throwing it was the fact that they said that the suspected Medium was "inno" and didn't vote up Vigil (the GF) or the Exe also, what really ruined the game was that they voted up the Dovazozz (or something like that) the Jailor with nobody CC'ing the claim. Also jailor didn't take the time to kill the NE claim and the reason why we voted him up because he was quiet af. (a bit susp)

A guy named Mrmayor claimed Vigi (was Mafioso) and forced me to claim Vet and I took the risk of alerting so that I wouldn't risk getting shot. Town voted me up and I gave a good defense. I said: "Vigil and these scummy people are voting me up. They are trying to get me hanged." or something like that. We voted him up and he got hung.

Unfortunately, Kira make the mistake of visiting me when I still had possible alerts left (why on earth would an invest visit a pretty much confirmed vet???) and I had one alert left. We could of won this.

It was down to Vigil, me, and L. I wasn't thinking and we decided to hang L with as predicted, the godfather using one of my favorite scum/TPower strategy of 'flashing' the vote (pretending to vote guilty but abstaining).

Medium seanced me and acted really salty, calling me dumb, idiot, in all caps etc. Even though it wasn't really my fault to begin with, since town refused to hang/execute the NE claim in the first place and Kira decided to hang the jailor. (I voted inno on jailor and was the only inno voter, btw.)

I reported Kira in-game for gamethrowing (sorry if I did report him under the wrong report alignment!), and I apologized later after the inno person was indeed medium, forgetting that he guiltied the Jailor claim with no CC's. I should of posted screenshots.

Theories on why the game turned out the way it did:

1- Kira knew that I was indeed TK and that Mafioso was lying beforehand via 3rd party apps. He voted up TheMayor (who was skyping with him) the mafioso who forced me to claim my role so that it could be revealed to the GF and the Jester.

2- Jailor was in a skype call with Kira (Invest), Vigil (GF), and L (Exe turned jest). Vigil made a deal with the Jester beforehand so that he could get lynched since his target left the game. Jailor told the GF and the Invest my Vet claim and informed them that I was saving alerts until the TP(s) had died to throw mafia off. Mafioso could of been in this as well. (seems plausible)

3- Kira was intentionally gamethrowing because they didn't like how I was subtly VFRing/or "random" voting people. (doesn't explain why Town refused to hang the NE early on, though.)

4- Town could of just been a bit passive/dumb at the end. (could be likely but doesn't explain Kira and the other Town's guilty vote (?) on the Jailor though.)

n5- BMer was telling people in discord/skype about my claim in the whispers. Without the medium's knowledge. (unlikely, because Kira had to have gotten involved due to that Jailor lynch)

Lesson Learned: I should of just stalled the vote like I made with my endgame NK strategy so that I could of lived a bit longer *sigh*
And that's also why you shouldn't visit a vet claim when its endgame.

At least no ELO is lost here, as it's only RP. *waiting patiently for that ELO reset and Ranked Season two to come out*

N1: I jail Ann Sears. She immediately claims Sheriff without me saying anything, so I pretty much trust her. I was transported and roleblocked.
D2: jalapeno the Medium is dead to mafia. Some guy called Jonathan Cancer starts pushing to lynch people, okay, I'm good with that. We vote up Pika who claims Transporter and is innoed. Jonathan says he suspects I am evil so I jail him.
N2: Jonathan immediately claims... Veteran. Of course. So that was pretty stupid of me jailing him. I let him know who I am anyway.
D3: Wyvern the Lookout is dead to an Ambusher. Jonathan claims attacked in jail. Oops. Ann says she has info but doesn't want to reveal her role. We push her to say it anyway, and she says Its Ya Boi came up as mafia. We vote him up and he claims Escort, but trusting Ann, we guilty and he is Consort.
N3: I jail someone called Cat at random. They say hi without claiming a role, so I click to execute, then they claim Vigilante. I very rarely trust vig claims unless there's actually been a death to vig, and they didn't claim immediately, so I decide to take the risk and execute them anyway.
D4: Mary Eastey the Hex Master is dead to Veteran, Pika is killed and cleaned by the mafia, and Cat the Ambusher is dead to Jailor. Someone called Monkey Banana says they transed themselves with Pika, and a few people are saying that Pika was mafia. We vote up Rutabaga at random who doesn't defend themselves but just spams nonsense, everyone abstains except someone called Holy Centimeter. Meanwhile, I check the votes from consort and notice 2 people didn't vote him up - Holy and Skyler White. Since Holy may die to jester, I decide to jail Skyler. However Rutabaga turns out to be Plaguebearer.
N4: Skyler also claims Vigilante. I'm not buying it so deicde to exe them.
D5: Skyler White the Mafioso is dead to Jailor. Now it's just me, Monkey Banana who claimed Transporter, Ann, Jonathan, Holy Centimeter who I'm still suspicious of, Lydia and Cotton who haven't claimed yet. I ask Lydia and Cotton for roles, Lydia claims Investigator and has a solid will, so we vote up Cotton. He appears to be afk and is lynched, and turns out to be Necromancer.
N5: I jail Holy who says nothing so I click to execute. All they say is "you'll regret it".
D6: Holy Centimeter the Transporter is dead to Jailor (nice gamethrow). Lydia Dustin the Investigator is dead to Potion Master. I'm asking if anyone was transed because I now suspect Monkey, but then Ann posts her will saying she checked number 12 last night. She is number 12. So we vote her up, and I get ready to jail Monkey just in case. She's lynched and is Potion Master.

Town Wins! The dead chat were going mad saying they were reporting me and Jonathan for cheating, because we'd successfully found and killed so many evils (Skyler had even put in their will "JAILOR IS CHEATING"). Just goes to show what voting people up every day and having a good jailor can do!

So I've just had another ranked game as retributionist. It was absolutely awesome, and should be an example of how town is suposed to act. Evils didn't had a chance despite mafia having 2 janitors. And everything due to the great mayor we had, who was the most active mayor I have ever seen. Here are the logs of the game. It's quite short, but shows how town should play in every game. For people who don't want to read logs, here is the summary:
- Retri claims d1.
- Spy (cleaned) is dead.
- Mayor reveals and ask for someone's role.
- He doesn't answer and is put on the stand.
- He is lynched due to no claim. He was janitor. Mayor asks for someone else's role, but he doesn't answer.
- Trans had died to ww. Bg died guarding someone and to ww. Gf had been executed by the jailor. Mafioso had been killed by bg and ww.
- Mayor asked again for that person's role. He claimed exe and got lynched. Was actually exe.
- Trans was revived. He accused someone of being ww because the ones who had visited were dead. Mayor put that person up and he didn't even claim. He was ww.
- Vigi shot inv.
- There were only 2 sus players left.
- One of them is lynched, flips investigator.
- Jailor executed the other guy, who was mafioso. Vigi died from guilt.
- Town won

Despite evils not defending themselves, town (or at least the mayor) played really well. This games shows that being active is the best town can do. Even without mayor, this is the best move.

Maf had 2 janitors. The only thing left was Sk. Also, the point of the post is not the win, but how did we win. The only important roles were the jailor and the mayor. The retri and the trans were pretty useless in this game.

Hey there,

I rolled Executioner today in a game and my target died N2, so I became a Jester. Whatever, I thought, why not go ahead and do something different than the usual stuff like claiming taken roles, spamming (which is obviously prohibited) and otherwise annoying everyone. And since I already started with a Spy will, I just continued using that one and some useful coincidences happened, which I instantly abused ^^

D3: A player named Mello claimed shooting someone and that this person was immune. So I used this moment to earn some trust of the Town and reveal myself as a Jester to the Mafia. I claimed, that I also bugged the same Target and that the person was indeed immune. I added the people, who got visited by Mafia (which was obviously wrong and the Mafia saw that) to the chat and with my voice confirming the Vigilantes we successfully lynched the Godfather. I was proven to everyone in a way, that nobody would actually kill me.

D5: Three Members of the Mafia were killed by now and the SK and GF found each other. The SK said this in the chat (so we knew, who he was) and I just replied with a "Yeah". Since the SK knew, who he attacked, he also knew, that I was the Jester. I told them, that I didn't notice, that the person, who got shot by the Vigilante, was actually "my Mafia Member" and that I acted prematurely killing my Godfather accidentally. With some laughter and telling them, that I had to laugh all game long everyone (except the GF and the SK) thought, that I really was the ex-Mafioso, that turned GF. So they voted me up and I told them, that I thought I made a good play once in my whole ToS career, just to find out, that I actually fked up big time. And after 3 Townies guiltied (The SK and GF abstained for obvious reasons) I revealed, that I eventually did one of the best plays for a long time. I naturally needed the assistance of Captain CAPS LOCK for this big reveal ^^

Other than the obvious funny, good and lucky part of this play, I had another reason to post this:

People usually just go with the "I'll annoy everyone so they lynch me"-Tactic, when they get Jester. I hope this gave you some insight about how you can actually get yourself lynched by other means. Trying to get away from those boring tactics, where 95% of the time they will just say "He is probably Jester" after you spoke the first time, is maybe not that easy, but it is worth it Most people do not understand the real mechanics about playing any kind of evil role: Lie in a way, that they trust you or in the case of Jester, that they believe you are Mafia/ NK.

Being unconventional is the thing, that makes this game fun and coming up with your own strategies is the best thing you can do. This will make even the most boring roles like Mafioso (Mechanics-Wise) really cool. And before anyone says: "Wow, he did his first good play, look how he is proud of himself..." I am actually proud of myself in some way, but it is not the first time I do something like this After over 550 games you are able to see patterns and abuse these. Doing anything new will break this cycle and I just want to make sure, that I will get mindfked from time to time ^^

essentially trans were accusing trans, vig was saying that PB was immune(we were assuming PB was maf) and exe/jester(assumed sheriff) was trying to force lynches.
One Trans was lynched and next day exe/jester tricked us into lynching medium

Vig randomshoots Crus and then I had enough, basically made PB solo guilt the exe/jester (it was clear he was Jester)

After that I forced votes and lynched a consig who had a clear consig will. next day second consig goes to stand

That night I vig kill the last maf.

From Absolute Chaos, to victory. Sometimes you need to take charge

I was shot by a vigilante in night 2 due to that.

This was a while back, at least by a year or longer. I can't recall the exact time length.

I joined a Custom lobby and there was a decent-looking setup with lots of survivors and townies versus other neutral killing roles so I thought I'd give it a shot.


But little did I know the horrors that would be ahead of me.
I entered a regular name....but I realized something....
There was a hidden Undertale theme going on?
A bunch of Undertale character names began joining the lobby, and it didn't seem to end.

The game starts, and I roll survivor.
I look around, and I instantly notice that I am the only player in the entire game that didn't have an Undertale name.

Turns out, during day 2, all 14 other players were part of a gigantic Undertale fandom party, and they liked glorifying the 15th member(me) as the fallen human.

Now, I thought this was kind of innocent at first. It seemed kinda cool I guess, and I was kind of looking into Undertale during that time. But...then it just straight up turned....bad.
I mean...they began using really uncomfortable terms that made me believe that I was participating in a Deviantart-Fetish party...next thing I know, the chatbox is flooded by complete nonsense with horrible shippings. They weren't even voting, or discussing the roles.

That was one of the very few games I willingly left early in while I still had a clear chance at victory.

I've had several entertaining games in the past week.
There was a Custom game where I was a Jester. The Jester in the rolelist was lynched D2 and nobody thought one of the three Any slots could be another Jester, so I figured I had the game in the bag. Soon, only a Werewolf, a bunch of Town, and me were left. When the Investigator claimed, I counterclaimed and said that a random person was sheriff/exe/werewolf. Town concluded on their own that this must be the werewolf and lynched them. Turns out? They actually were the Werewolf. Town wins, I lose.
In another game, I was a Blackmailer. Three different Amnesiacs choose to join the Mafia, and all of them get killed by the Witch who sided with the Arsonist and kept controlling the Godfather. Eventually, it's just the Godfather, the Witch, and the Arsonist left. The Godfather somehow managed to convince the Witch to let him and all the people she'd forced him to kill win.

Oh my god, this game was hilarious. I honestly played a bad jester but the end was amazing.
Started out with a fake claim of sheriff, and got the medium hanged day 2. Like day 5, 2 maf, 2 town, and me left. The consig got me to reveal I'm jester by innoing him, but it was obvious at this point I was jester. He also pointed out rambo was maf by saying 'What the hell rambo why didn't you inno, the jester innod'
Day 6, one town got killed, it's just me, vet, and gf. Now here's roughly how that day went.

I kinda forgot how this one went but it ended up being 2 people left, a Mafia member and a Townie. We had no idea what the role of the Townie was, and we all had lost hope.

Then the Townie reveals.
And hangs the last Mafia.

The dead chat was like "MVP MAYOR WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

So I've just had a ranked game as mafioso. Our RM were janitor and blackmailer. This game was totally unfair.
Mafia played horribly, including me. For some reason the janitor didn't clean until late game, while the blackmailer blackmailed since night 1 (personally I never bm as blackmailer since it reveals your existence and confirms someone as town, making you unable to claim spy). In night 1 we killed a bodyguard who also died guarding someone, killing the serial killer. Then a mayor revealed. Also, someone made an obvious vet bait in day 1 (I know who the mafia is!!), but no one visited her.
During the next night we killed a jester and the bodyguard was revived (luckily, he didn't ask for a whisper game). Ret confirmed himself and they voted some people up, who claimed a spy. Maybe someone else claimed TI too. Then I was jailed and claimed lookout to the jailor. I had no visits for night 1, and had claimed roleblocked in night 2. He asked me to tell him a joke, but I couldn't. Mafia killed a doctor, so there were only 1 RT left. Someone said it must be me, but I claimed lookout again. I was put up on stand but then I was innoed after I posted my scummy af will:

I don't know why, but they let me live. They started to suspect the spy claim because of the blackmailer. None of my mafia had claimed yet. The gf asked me for the jailor's name, but I had no idea. We attacked a jailed person, who was also executed. He was the investigator. We kept voting people up (one of them claimed sheriff), but no one was maf. Finally the mayor decided to lynch the spy thinking he was bmer. He didn't even have a will. There was only 1 inno vote from the sheriff.
At this point it was down to 4 mafia members vs 6 townies, without cleaned bodies btw. I decided to kill the bodyguard and accuse the sheriff (who had been very quiet) to gain mayority, but they decided to kill a non claimer instead, cleaning him. He was the jailor. Then the sheriff accused me of being mafia and I accused him of visiting the cleaned guy. But he pointed out I couldn't have seen only 1 player, so I gave up. I was lynched (1 mafia member innoed me despite I had gave up! the worst part is that no one called her out for that). It was day 6. In the dead chat, the sk said our mafia was really dumb and asked why tf we hadn't killed bodyguard and mayor yet, and why we were blackmailing the ret instead of the sheriff claim (I hadn't noticed that, as I said, ALL mafia was really stupid. However, if we had blackmailed the sheriff, misslynching him would have been way harder). That night, they decided to kill the bodyguard, without cleaning him. He died. Then the sheriff called our janitor out as mafia. He made a scummy TI claim and was lynched, having cleaned only 1 player. I knew we had lost, since now they only had to PoE the mafia members, who hadn't claimed yet and win. That night maf killed the mayor and blackmailed the sheriff. At this point, it was down to the godfather and the blackmailer (neither of them had claimed yet) vs the confirmed ret, the confirmed sheriff and the uncounterclaimed veteran. They asked for the role of the gf, and she claimed lookout (this was really scummy. Anyway, no claim could have saved her at that point). They asked for blackmailer's role, and he claimed SPY. And guess what? The veteran INNOED our gf in order to get the blackmailer first. Then they voted the blackmailer... but for some reason the sheriff didn't even vote (I'm not sure, but maybe he even voted the retri!). The day ended with a no-lynch for some reason. Then maf killed the retri and the veteran left, so they lynched the sheriff and won. I felt pretty bad for town, since we didn't deserve to win due to our horrible plays. I don't really know what happened.

TL;DR: Mafia played horribly and won anyway and undeserved game due to idk what.

PS: I've just noticed that my plan of misslynching the sheriff was pathetic, since town wouldn't lose mayority after that due to the mayor.

There was a hidden Undertale theme going on?
A bunch of Undertale character names began joining the lobby, and it didn't seem to end.

The game starts, and I roll survivor.
I look around, and I instantly notice that I am the only player in the entire game that didn't have an Undertale name.

Turns out, during day 2, all 14 other players were part of a gigantic Undertale fandom party, and they liked glorifying the 15th member(me) as the fallen human.

Now, I thought this was kind of innocent at first. It seemed kinda cool I guess, and I was kind of looking into Undertale during that time. But...then it just straight up turned....bad.
I mean...they began using really uncomfortable terms that made me believe that I was participating in a Deviantart-Fetish party...next thing I know, the chatbox is flooded by complete nonsense with horrible shippings. They weren't even voting, or discussing the roles.

That was one of the very few games I willingly left early in while I still had a clear chance at victory.

So I decided to start playing my placement matches for season 2. It was really frustrating, since I rolled NK in the first 2.
In the first one I rolled ww and decided to claim sheriff. I scumread someone and called him out as mafia. He was in fact consig, but someone said that he had been jailed that night so my claim was impossible. Everyone assumed I was exe and for some reason the jailor didn't execute me. A mayor revealed in day 2 and I killed him, but he was revived then. In night 4 I stayed at home because I was scared of being investigated. I didn't kill anyone. Maf was being lynched. Finally the gf was lynched in day 5. I was hoping he was actually a sheriff. Then everyone assumed I was ww due to my claim and my mistake despite I was saying it had been updated. The invest found the jester so they lynched him to give him a free win. Everyone guiltied except me. I begged them to haunt the mayor. I decided to stay at home hoping to get visited, but I wasn't. And the jester haunted another person, so I was lynched. Frustrating af.
Then in my second game I was SK and decided to claim investigator. I hit immune and jailed in first 2 nights. Then I posted will listing gf as bg/gf and a guy as lookout/witch/forger, because I thought he was the witch. He was shot and was janitor. At this point evils have mayority, so I revealed and asked town and witch to side with me. They didn't and I was lynched. They said it was my fault for refusing to lynch a maf because evils had mayority. And the witch was just an asshole. Too bad.

After my first 2 placement matches, I decided to play the next 2. Finally I rolled town.
In the third one I rolled sheriff and said in day 1 "Finally I'm not NK". I got killed n1, probably due to that. Town won anyway, but I was totally useless.
In the forth one I rolled jailor and decided to claim in day 1. And guess what? No TP were on me and I was killed by SK in night 3. Maf didn't kill in night 1 and a spy called someone out, but then a doctor who had claimed in day 1 popped out and said he had healed him. The other person claimed bodyguard, who hadn't protected me either. Then I jailed someone quiet, who claimed vigi (the guy I had jailed in night 1 did the same) and I was killed. The lookout called out the SK, who was the bodyguard claim, but the doctor claim kept saying "INNO THIS HE IS TOWN!" because he had healed him and that meant he was townie. Instead they accused the lookout of being exe and the jailed person of being sk. They voted him up an innoed, while the first vigi said he would shoot him. Then they tried to vote SK, but there were not enough votes although town had mayority. The mayor had to reveal to put him on trial. And he was fcking innoed! even though the mayor had guiltied. Then the first vigi shot the second one despite being perfectly possible (maybe because he had threatened to shoot him), the second one killed the scummy af doctor (who said vigi was dumb) and the mafia killed and cleaned the jester. It was down to 4 vs 1 vs 4. And now mafia voted up SK inmediately and town was stupid enough to guilty him, giving mafia mayority. Only the mayor innoed, but everyone else guiltied. Mafia gained mayority and won the game. I couldn't believe how dumb was this town. The worst part is that I will be forced to play with idiots like them if I keep losing my placement matches. I wish town were so stupid when I'm evil. Now I will play the 5th PM. I hope I win this one.

edit: I've just played the 5th one. This time I rolled lookout, which is my lucky role.
Someone claimed escort in day 1, so I obvioulsy watched her. And she was visited by 3 different players! She was alive the next day, without killings. She claimed roleblocked and I posted my will. Then a spy came up and said maf had visited the escort twice! I felt like a psychic when I asked for their roles. One of them claimed escort. Everyone assumed he was consort, but we decided to vote up a nonclaimer first. When he was up to the stand, he claimed bg. There were no ccs but we lynched him because he seemed scummy. He was bodyguard. Meanwhile, someone whispered me "you are jester, right?", but I ignored him (maybe a bad play, but I was thinking in the other 2 visitors, who were mafia according to the spy).
The next night I watched the spy claim, but she wasn't visited. I was also transported. That night the transporter, who had transported himself with me for some reason, was dead to a vigilante. Also mafia had killed the guy who whispered me. He was a jester. The SK had killed the jailor, who had no will. And the bodyguard was ressurrected. We lynched the escort claim who was known to be consort. Also, the spy and a death note had accused someone of being immune (spy said she had been visited in n1, without mafia kills). Some people were pushing for the lynch of the SK, but we lynched the consort first so mafia wouldn't gain mayority. A random person said they had to get me next because I was known to be mafia or something like that.
That night I watched the revived bodyguard, who had been visited by one quiet player, who was killed by a SK that night. He was the mafioso, and the bodyguard had luckily vested. The vig had died from guilt. He was the accuser from the previous day. Since maf had only 2 members left, we decided to lynch the SK, who barely defended herself. Meanwhile, the third person who had visited the escort in night 1 was claiming sheriff, but no one believed him at all. I don't remember why, but we suspected someone of being gf (maybe he was accused of being immune?), so we told the escort to roleblock him.
There were no kills that night. He claimed healed, but there were no docs so we lynched him. He was gf. We told the escort to roleblock the sheriff claim, while I decided to look at him. He was visited by 2 spies and the escort. There were no kills, so we lynched the last maf, who was framer turned mafioso.
Town won by day 6 with 6 townies alive: the lookout, the retributionist, the revived bodyguard, the 2 spies and the escort. It was a very nice game compared to the previous ones. The last mafia member said I carried town and someone called me MVP. I don't think I played that good. I just made the obvious lookout plays, but mafia were really dumb (why tf did they try to roleblock an escort claim? Why did they try to kill revived bodyguard with a lookout still alive?). Anyway, this game improved my mood
Also, the spy told me that the vigi was trying to shoot me the night I was transed, so we both reported her for gamethrowing.
