I reveal as Mayor.

He gets lynched.

Town wins.

Dead chat explodes. He immediately rage quits.

Wwas mayor revealed day one. Like day three was two vigilante claims & confirmed veteran. I told both vigilante to shoot each other to prove. GUESS WHAT THE REAL VIG DOES? shot the revealed mayor! Start of the next day vigilante says "See, I told you im vig".

All Any: I roll Arsonist.

N1 I'm attacked. Next day, turns out there was another Arsonist who left. I immediately claim "Attacked but vested" to head off Mafia accusations. When asked whether that makes me BG or Survivor, I claim the latter figuring that if Mafia attacks me again or Mayor reveals I'm doomed. Town thankfully don't question this and Mafia don't seem to push the matter besides an attempt in their death note to deny attacking me, due to them finding and lynching Werewolf on D3. I'm thus able to continue dousing without disturbance. Meanwhile, Amnesiac remembers Arsonist from the guy who left.

D4 it becomes clear that there's a Transporter from people claimed to have been transported. D5 the other Arsonist is lynched, which ramps up the pressure on me. In his will, it reveals that he only managed to douse "Mom" before Escort/Consort caught them (by chance it turned out that said "Mom" was the role blocker). This is crucial for me, as she was one of the two people I hadn't attempted to douse. I try to ignite that night and pray that Transporter hasn't cost me the game, but I'm role blocked! I think the game over, but "Mom" whispered me the next day asking me to confirm I was Survivor. I did so and she told me to lynch the Transporter (who by sheer luck was the other person I hadn't doused). I obliged, but during the lynch I asked "How many Mafia are there?" "Four" was the reply. There were six people alive besides the Transporter who was being lynched. I had to quickly come up with a way to get Consort to block the other non-Mafia instead of me. I asked: "What does the other guy claim?" "Mom" responded: "Survivor as well". When the lynch was over, they'd be expecting the game to end and they'd realize one of us had lied immediately after. Just after the lynch ended; "Is he?" Just before the day ended, she replied: "Maybe".

I click to ignite and hold my breath, praying that Consort targets him instead of me.

Had a game where the Mafioso died once a night. First, I, the Vampire, but the first one on a random choice, then the next Mafioso got stabbed by SK, you get the idea.

This was not a game of skill, but rather luck

Role: Executioner
target: a guy named Smith John.

I decided to claim investigator, and blame Smith as a jester/framer

I couldn't enact my plan D2 (I was Rbed, so it would not hold up), so on D3 I started my plan. Needless to say, I failed, and town suspected me as an evil role. Smith wasn't really talking much though, so I managed to keep myself alive by focusing on other people. N4 comes, and the Jailor jailed me, and immediately decided to exe me. I tried posting my fake will up, but he didn't listen. However, the consort Rbed the jailor, causing me to live. Smith claimed mayor in jail the previous night, and got himself lynched when he did not reveal. He was actually a Bodyguard.

Umm... OK? I should have lost for sure, but thanks I guess...

His thought process was he had to claim a power role or he would have been lynched anyway for claiming BG. Ret may have worked better for him, else doctor assuming it wasn't an SK game and assuming a TP wasn't already dead/he didn't get cc'd.

He'd already been accused of being an evil role (and since you listed jester as a possibility) he may have chosen mayor to either avoid the lynch or avoid enough guilty votes in the event it was a jester considering he clearly couldn't reveal in any case.

It's not abnormal for a bodyguard to false claim on the stand (after day2/3 especially) because they typically get lynched regardless.

In fact bodyguard is by far the easiest exe target, as it's the only role that would have to die (or get bugged while vesting, extremely low odds) to prove itself.

Was an executioner.
My target died n2, now a jester.
D3 I say something about traps being unfair (as a gf died to a trap that same night my target died)
Someone asks for my role, I ignore them and instead say, "are people voting me because I complained about traps".
when voted up, I say that VFR is a crutch and that they will look really stupid when they lynch me.
Only one person votes guilty. As soon as the jester message shows, said guilty voter reveals as mayor.

Let me set the stage for you....

4 maf left. 2 town left. Easy win for me and the other 3 maf, right?

Well...

We go to the night knowing there is a transport and vet. For some reason, amidst
a chat box filled with "EZ's" and "GG's", our Godfather decides to attack.

Yours truly doesn't wake up the next morning.

Annoying, but whatever. We still have numbers. As a joke, the Godfather says, "I'm going afk."

GG. Right?

Nope. It comes time to vote. The two townies make a last ditch effort and vote
against one of my mafia brothers. Who knows what can happen right?

Well, for some reason one of the mafia decides to play with fire and votes with the town.

Don't ask me why. I won't even try to psychoanalyze this move. It just happened.

You can guess what happens next. The town votes guilty, the maf who "was joking around"
votes innocent, and that Godfather who was joking about going afk? He wasn't joking.

So now it's 2v2, and our Godfather is AFK.

For three nights, I watched the mafia nighttime chat box get flooded with one mafia member saying
" COME BACK " "WHY DID YOU GO AFK" "I FKED UP SO BADLY"

Eventually, it went to a draw.

So mafia, even when you're up 4 to 2, if there's a transported DON'T ATTACK. And if you decide to,
DON'T VOTE UP YOUR OWN PLAYER THE NEXT DAY. And even if THAT happens and youve STILL got a chance
to win, DON'T GO AFK IF YOU ARE IN A MAFIA KILLING ROLE.

Needless to say I forgave the guy instantly. We all do stupid shit, and sometimes our desire for
power and control comes out by voting up one of our own members.

No hard feelings were held onto, just thought it was a funny story!

you had one day left to live before the medium would have seanced the lookout results in any case, and one day until he could grab it from the now dead lookout. Catch 22 on that one, it didn't matter which way it happened or whether the ret existed, you would have been outed a day later simple because the medium itself existed.

Once upon a time in a land far away there was a Vigilante, his name was psychic psycho!(This was me!!!)

On the first night I cleaned my gun as always, then I decided on day two I would close my eyes and the first number that popped into my head...would be my victim!

N2 I shot the Framer and was like OK THIS WORKS so I went along with it and started going off about how "the voices told me he was evil" and claimed vigilante, needless to say the town accused me of multiaccounting(I HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE BUT NOT THIS TIME! I was reported and banned for cheating and swore to never do it again!) I wasn't and continued doing what I do best! being a random vigi, so I picked another number in my head N3 and shot the mafioso! I was also attacked by the Serial killer that night but thankfully the doctor healed me!

I continued my shpeel about the "voices in my head" and the town at this point just kindof accepted the fact that I was a moron but I was doing a good job, I spent N4 in Jail and told the Jailor that the voices said he would die tonight and SURE ENOUGH the serial killer stabbed him! The town knew I wasnt SK due to invest results, N5 came around and I ended up shooting the Disguiser, after which another vigilante whispered me and told me that he wanted the voices to tell me who he should shoot, I told him and he ended up shooting a Vampire, another vampire was staked that night and he whispered me again and asked me who he should shoot next, I told him he wouldnt live long enough to see it and the SK stabbed him afterwards.

By the time the game ended there were 3 of us left, myself, the serial killer and the sheriff! They claimed they were both sheriff and voted for eachother, so I flipped a coin and we hung the actual Serial Killer! I told the town I was schizophrenic and everyone in the match added me and stayed the whole game(This happened about a year and a half ago, I will never forget it!)

I was gf. Someone said he was going to alert n1, so we picked another person to kill. The transporter transported that person with the vet, killing mafioso and disguiser. Ugh. Was that even a good play?

In my next game (I was jailor), almost every single evil gamethrew. Consig didn't claim in jail, so I killed him. Then the witch claimed witch in jail. The GF went afk since d1, so we lynched him. Then the ww revealed himself because "maf was so bad that he didn't have a chance). After that we lynched the last maf (who at least tried to claim) member and we won.

They also do it so they have a believable claim. Spies will usually think it's a Forger visit rather than a Disguiser visit.
