Classic Ranked, mid-Gold ELO. Rolled SK.
D1: Jailor revealed to ask for TP/LO. No info on TIs, so figured I'd best establish a visiting claim and went for Sheriff. Zero vetbaits.
N1: Mafia kills a Vigilante, I kill a Spy.
D2: Zero announces themselves as Vet and claims RT1. Someone claims roleblocked. Jailor predictably asks for TI info and for people to whisper roles. I whisper him a NS claim on a silent person and, seconds later, that person quits. I figure I'll just have to cross my fingers on that one. One of the Town on-off votes the Jailor to indicate they're blackmailed, and during VFR we out a Medium claim. No other TS roles openly reveal, causing Town to suspect a Consort. Jailor asks Town to vote up a non-revealing Mayor claim. They appear to be AFK on the stand and get lynched, flipping Jester.
N2: I kill a Bodyguard, Jester haunt kills a Lookout. Due to info in the whispered claims, the Jailor jails and executes the Medium claim. They flip Mafioso.
D3: My dead NS claim turns out to be the Godfather. Doubling down, I accuse one of the silent roles as being Mafia and Town seem inclined to distrust them when they reluctantly claim Vigi. The escort reveals to widespread suspicion, prompting another Sheriff claim to appear and say they checked them N1 and they're NS. Town decides to test my claim and lynch the Vigi, who flips Mafioso. Jailor confirms me as 1st RT.
N3: Mafia and I both have the same idea, and kill the Jailor. The Jailor jails and executes the other Sheriff claim, hoping to prove them and the Escort as the last two Mafia. They flip Sheriff, "confirming" 2nd RT.
D4: I announce I'd decided to double-check the other Sheriff's result and confirm the Escort is legit. Still in the game is the Escort, the Vet claim, myself as SK, and two non-claimers, the first of which had their role redacted in the Jailor's will. The first whispers to the Escort to claim, and the two announce that Zero the Vet claim is likely SK and the final non-claimer is the last Mafia. Zero protests. The Escort suggests lynching the non-claimer first, either way, as it's a safer lynch. On the stand they claim Spy and are lynched, flipping Mafioso. The final non-claimer does some co-ordinating whispering with the Escort, and I have the sneaking suspicion it might be a Mayor hoping to turn the tables on me at the 11th hour.
N4: I kill the Escort, figuring he'll have roleblocked Zero to protect the other role, and that framing Zero is my best option at this point. If the missing role is a Retri, Lookout, Sheriff or Invest then I just have to accept that I'm screwed.
D5: Escort's will says they roleblocked Zero, and they die to SK. The last role reveals as Mayor and accuses Zero of being SK. I dive in and say Zero came up as a Serial Killer, and that seals it. Zero is voted up and protests patiently that they claimed from the start, and that I must be the SK, but the Mayor is adamant. Zero is an unproven Vet claim, compared with my pretty solid Mafioso-finding Sheriff claim. The Mayor thinks it's unlikely I'd have picked out a Mafia that early, and feels he has to go with the evidence as he sees it. I join the Mayor in guiltying Zero, who flips Veteran.
N6: I drop by the Mayor's house for a brief chat. Involving knives.
D6: SK wins.
Jailor and Mayor both mutter grudging congratulations. Most of the rest of dead chat is furious, having been utterly convinced that Zero was the SK. Definitely the most satisfying +13 ELO I've had for a while.
