I personally prefer the right one, it has more contrast in it where I wonder if the left one might be a bit hard to tell where the hair ends and the dress begins at the back?
Obviously my opinion may be a little biased but I agree that this looks more like a mafia member than a townie, even if she doesn't fit into the Consort's story as well.
I also think that the bit of her dress where there's the gap in her legs shouldn't have lines on it, just have it shaded with the light patch between the lines shaded as well. I did work out what it was but.....she looks a little like she has something between her legs.

I was told that they were making an escort design already, this one I assume, and that they were going to make multiple skins for the same classes, like the arso and doc has two skins right now.

So out of curiosity can I assume that your whole art department is a bunch of 15 year old boys. I mean seriously guys you have quite a large female player base here maybe we can stop trying desperately to run them off.

I think they've only got one person designing the avatars, and one on houses, so when there's only one person it's easy to make choices that not everyone's happy with.
Also I think they were mostly focusing on it to be an obvious reference to Jessica Rabbit, who's a pretty famous Disney character.

I believe the fan design has that cute and sweet edge to it that makes it appropriate to be an Escort

Also on the subject of the community having a say in choices and avatar designs:
First of all with all the kickstarter stuff the Devs are probably too bussy right now to comment on the forums much and to keep an eye on what we think of everything. I don't know how they've been in the past before.
Second, I wonder if it's partly kept from us so that there's a surprise for us? I can understand them wanting to do that but I think there's enough people not on the froums that you can let those on the forums in the loop.

I voted for the one with the orange hair. It catches the reference that much more by not being the same red as her dress.

I don't really see how people can complain about this skin being sexualized or saying the art department must be 15 year olds like some. The Nurse Skin and this one are references to Nurse Akali from League of Legends and Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Have a problem? Take it up with the people who made the things that are being referenced.

Anyway, on topic, I'd say Orange. It stands out better next to the red dress. The version with Red hair looks very plain.

I agree with you on everything except for the skin color diversity. Honestly, the first time i saw the Doctor skin i was shocked, im not a feminist or anything but i saw the skin and was shocked. Though i dont think the game is sexist i think the current slew of skins coming out just look, fucking dumb.

I hardly see how this is whining, you have the right to express your opinion and just because it's the same as yours doesn't mean it's downright wrong. Think twice before making this kind of comment, thank you.

On another hand, ugh. yeah this is Jessica Rabbit no doubt about that. She is an out of proportion character that's a fact but on the other hand issuing her as a skin isn't a good idea in my opinion.
I don't think ToS is the place for that, yes it has a caricatural dimension to the game but you don't have to get every females outrageously dressed, men should receive the same treatement; you know equality.

I just think a skin like that is a bit clumsy and there's tons of skins that would be more appropriate to the game than this one, it's a bit easy if you ask me, too easy.

Would personally love nightspirit's design in-game. ToS is highly community run (roles/feedback/etc) so adding in works done by the community seems fitting.
