Someone's story, thought I'd share it, pretty good.
Just going to warn you, I have a lot to say lmao. This was by far the tightest and luckiest game I had ever played.
Classic TT game from almost a year ago, I rolled vigi. Two townies disconnect and one dies to maf n1, another townie gets lynched d2. Jailor is witched n2 so they can’t exe, and another townie dies to maf n2. Should have been evil majority, right?
But I ended up shooting the hypnotist the same night. D3, 5v4 Town majority. The GF miscounted, let their guard down, and basically outted every evil, including TT, on accident by telling them not to vote (they all complied, none of them voted). But I and the rest of the town knew it was still town maj and we barely got the mafioso lynched d3.
N3 rolls around. I try to shoot the GF (who has defense anyways), but, unfortunately, I got witched. Into the jailor, no less (all TP was dead at that point). The jailor didn’t exe for some reason, either, so no evil died. However, the GF had the same idea and killed the jailor as well. Only the jailor is dead, to maf and vigi. 4v3, town still has maj. GF gets hanged and n4 begins.
I die to guilt that night and, since witch had no other way of getting a kill (vet dc’d n1 and there were no other vigis), nobody else died. The witch gets hung by the town and the TT timer begins. It took the remaining townies two days and a mislynch, but they got the TT (escort) hung in the final three and the game ended in a Town win.
So many things could have happened that game that would take majority away from the town and hand maf the win to that game. I could have misfired, tried shooting the GF/witch, or abstained from shooting n2. Town could have failed to hang the mafioso d3. Witch could have sent me to a different target from maf n3 (with both targets being town). The witch could have been hung d4 (letting maf get a kill alongside my death to guilt n4). The town could have failed to hang the TT during the countdown. All these factors that would have cut town’s game short didn’t happen, and we won the game with a lot of luck and mid-to-late game strategy on our side.
Again, thanks for reading the novel of a story if you did, and I hope you enjoyed.
