Sponsorship brings new people to the game. The collabs with Markiplier and other youtubers spiced up the game a lot, and those are still on the table for new content they want to come out with.

Also, I have a hard time seeing how the devs are focusing only on chaos modes when they spent the last months balancing roles for Ranked. Taking NK out of Ranked in of itself was a big thing and a lot of roles were improved/overhauled.

Improvements sometimes drive away players. ToS's chaos modes are there for fun, because playing them is fun for the game. Ranked isn't exactly "fun", it's more of a collaborative challenge that relies solely on cooperation with others following a stricter fan-made set of rules. Chaos modes are randomized or introduce new playstyles, developed solely to have fun with and especially playing together with friends.

Now that Among Us is dying down whatever they have planned now should spice the game up again. This is a small game, with a small fanbase, made by a small team.

If you seriously think balancing every role even more will help the game then you are wayyyyy off, when the game is driven on its chaos modes and pure fun. That's why I adore the game in it's current state. No roles really need to be changed. I can have my fun with friends in the modes we want, because all Ranked does is give those who want a challenge a challenge. Sure, there will always be issues with it, but changing the entire game or its roles just to conform itself to a singular fucking mode is stupid, takes out all the fun, and kills the game.

Yeah, I agree that if you want a balanced role you have to see it in ranked first, but many ppl see like if it was the ONLY mode where you should look for when its not like that

I wish they would make balance changes, but from a business standpoint very few people will start playing the game if its balance is improved, but som people would join if there was a major update with new roles. If they add new roles, I would hope they would make balanced roles that are widely supported on the forums while still being fun to play as.
