"We went into a strange fog and one got struck by lightning while Gida disappeared. Something strange happened and one another got turned into a statue. One of the woman, Liliann thinks she's responsible for it so she ran away to keep us safe. One of the man Greorge thinks that she will return eventually so he insisted on staying and waiting for her. So here I am.

Hos about you?"

Spires asks only a short question: "stone statue?"
After that he explained their story:
"we were about to leave the forest into a desert but we noticed late there is quicksand next to the trees. Five of us could climb out in time, but one girl went to far when she saw the blue sky and she could not reach the forest. A guy threw him a rope made from some plants of the trees, but he got hit something because he got electrocuted suddenly and we could not do anything than watching as the girl sunk and the guy suffer from some shock."

"Yeah. Stone statue."

"What do you think is our best bet of escaping?"

Spires: "definetly not the desert, unless you can fly over the quicksand. The stone statue is a bad news. A medusa is hard to deal with."
You all hear a loud scream this moment. You recognise Liliann's voice. Spires and an other man wait for no one and runs directly to the source of the voice.
Aneverd walks next to you: "I think you should follow them before they kill the one they find."

You follow them. They are way faster than you and leave you behind. Luckily you can follow them with ease since they did not care about the path and there are a lot of damaged trees.
As you reaching them you hear voice. (Some of you recognise)
Liliann: "When she grabbed me to draw me to herself she turned into stone."
George: "I know. I was naive to think no one would try to hurt you."
Spoiler: Spires: "step aside. She is dangerous."
???: "Please do as he says."
You step out from the trees at this moment.
Both Spires and the other man covering their eyes with on of their hand. There is a sword in Spires' other hand.
George hugs Liliann protectiv as he respons: "Hunters, I felt your sword's smell as soon we woke up. Why you always target the weak ones."
He let Liliann from his hug and turns to the men.
"How naiv you two are too. I won't let her to you so easily."
Your legs froze to the ground as the combat unfolds in front of your eyes.
George runs with incredible speed and the unknown man had no time to react as George's hand targeted his chin and knocked him out immediatly. His next opponent is Spires and tries the same move but Spires avoid it in the last moment and counterattack with his sword. He slashed through George's chest and make a very deep wound. Incredibly there comes no blood from the wound.

(Multi's shout)

"STOP! I will protect Liliann, how do I free her?"

Both of the duelist are confused. George nods as he heard he need to teach you something.
George's movement slows down but it is still pretty fast. Spires caught off-guard as his lethal move was not lethal and George could throw his weapon from his hand. George pick up the sword and points it at Spires.
Liliann see this and she shouts: "Stop."
As you hear her shout you slap our yourself from your frozen state and you see that George lowers the weapon.
Spires: "You should be dead already, anything you are."
George: "You are right. I am dead already."
His wound and his hand which holds the swords starts burning. He turns towards you.
"I don't have much time. Second: I should apologize. I thought you are with them. Third: Please promise me you will protect Liliann."
Spires:"please be careful. She is dangerous."
George (the hunter): "Aren't we supposed to kill her?"
Spires: We were. But I made a promise. She has no evil intention after all.
George (the archangel) hugs Liliann: "Did you hear that? You are not their target anymore."

I gather everybody that still is with us into the bunker to see what everybody's opinion of what we should do is.
"We just lost two women. They weren't killed or anything like that. They left us because they thought we were all weird. We need to make a plan. First off, do we have any hunters or foragers? People who are good at surviving in the wild? We might need to survive for a while and with many mouths to feed we're going to need to try and see what all of our strengths are."
(Before I say this do we have any strengths? Or are we just regular people that can lead?)

He gives the sword to you.
George: "You can destroy the statue with this. This hunter does not know his weapon full potential."
You have no choice but take it from him. It's heavy. He goes to Liliann and you follow him. You only notice now the stone statue. It's the woman who left the base at the start. She holds Liliann's wrist in her hand very tightly and was ready to bite when petrified. George grabs Liliann's free hand and looks in her eyes.
Spires/Liliann (simultaneous): What are you doing?
George: "I wish we could know each other sooner. As you can see I am immune to your curse. It's because unlike others I am not flesh and blood. I could help you. If I just knew you need someone who you trust. I was paranoid about the hunters and did not search the ones who are similar than me. I'm sorry. I just show you my true form before I die."
He suffers in pain while he brings his wings out. Some feathers are already burning. He hugs Liliann and covers her with his wings. The burning intensifes. You are next to the flames but you feel no heat.
Liliann: "You are an angel."
George: "Sadly no. An angel would not be hurt by a holy weapon. I am something else. I am a..."
He can't finish the sentence as his pain grows stronger. He does not talk anymore as he burns away slowly.
You can't do anything just watch as he turns into ash while protecting Liliann.
After that Spires shouts at you: "What are you waiting for? You have the sword now. Kill her while she can't escape. She is dangerous to leave alive."
Liliann cries over George's remain but when she hear this she tries to free her arm from the statue but she can't.

The man who run with Spires to Liliann steps forward.
??? : "My name is George. I'm a hunter."
You see as everyone take some steps backwards moving away the hunter as far they can.
The only ones who did not move: Spires, Aneverd, George (the archangel) and the lizardman.
Spires: "I guess it was a bad time to introduce yourself."
George (the archangel) searchs Gida in the crowd and call her to himself: "common, they both could already kill us if they wanted. They are not bad guys."
You still see the fear on Gida's face while she slowly walks toward the archangel. He puts his arm around Gida as she arrived next to him.
George: "Don't worry I will protect you even with my own life when these two go on a rampage."
Spires: "I guess I can't hide it anymore. I'm a hunter as well. Name is Spires."

"No. I promised him, and she doesn't has bad intentions, we just have to make sure no one touches her and we should be fine"

As Liliann hears this she calms down but this does not last long.
Spires: "You have no choice. She is stuck to that stone. The sword can't cut through stone. And if the sword touches the medusa she will burn the same way as her guardian did. If you leave her here alone one of us guaranteed to kill her. If you stay with her you both will starve to dead or dry out from dehydration. She is dead already anything you do."
Liliann tries to escape from the statue's grasp She is unsuccessful.
"You have no choice."
This words repeated in your head. You know it has to be false. But out from your corrent knowledge it seems to be true.
"You have no choice."
Liliann is stuck. You cant touch hear because you will turn into stone. You can't break the stone statue because you are incapable to do so. You can't cut Liliann's hand because she will die. You can't leave Liliann because she will be killed. You can't stay with Lillian because you both die sooner or later.
"You have no choice."
You should have a choice, but what? MAybe someone alive could help you?: Aneverd? He sent you follow Spires. Spires? He won't help you now. George(the hunter)? You don't know if he would help you. The two woman left to the base? Maybe you could have bring one of them with you here, but which? The man who went out the woman whose statue is the issue now. You don't know about him anything, Same goes for the lizardman.
Your route is closed temporarily: You need to find a way to save Liliann.

You close your eyes. There has to be an answer somewhere, more precisely sometime.
You open your eyes. You see that Spires slash through George's chest.
You remember this timeline. George tried to say something which might be relevant but the pain overcome him.
You know this is the crucial moment you can do something.
If only you give him a second to finish his sentence. Only one second would be enough.

You are still frozen to the ground during the combat. But you can shout. You need to act fast and they need to understand you. If you do right you are able to change the future.
You can shout at most ten words. You need to be careful and obvious. You have only one shot. (This won't become a new route.)

You close your eyes after your shout.

As you open your eyes you are back the same place and same time where you left your timeline.
But now you know a way to free Lillian.

(You did not give George more time to finish his sentence, but he gave you information.)

You raise the sword to cut down the statue's hand. It goes through it easily. As the sword touches the statue it starts burning the same way as George did. After a few moment later only ashes left behind. It is still strange how the stone statue burned down but at least Liliann got free.
Spires: "It seems I was wrong. How you knew it will cut through?"
Spires kneels down to the other hunter and tries to wake him up. After Spires find out he is still alive he steps to you.
Spires: "you freed her. I still think she is dangerous but I won't hurt her in front of you unless I have to. I think it's time to give my weapon back."
The sword is heavier from moment to moment you feel you could not carry this away anyway.
Liliann moves away a few step into the safety before you decide.

Spires: "I already promised I will use it only against evil creatures when I got the sword. Otherwise I would not be able to wield it anymore. It can not cut anything that is not evil in my hand."
