Ruins of the Gods [RP]

This game is Ruins of the Gods, as shown by the title. This is a roleplaying game, similar to TRASH, where you all do generally whatever. However, unlike TRASH, this game has some structure and rules. Occasionally, I will show up to move the plot along, and whenever one of my games finish you'll be able to travel there.

CURRENT NEED TO KNOW STORY: The Game takes place after Game of the Gods. Humanity is in the Medieval age, with only one known type of magic: Prayar. However, with the gods gone, the magic of the world has begun to fade. The most magical of beasts, such as the Sirens and Slimes, are some of the last creatures to effectively use Prayar magic to survive. Without Prayar, the Planet itself has fallen to a deep slumber, stopping it's search for humanity.

The showcase is on a group of surviving humans, loosely led by Talon R. Picks, a surviving Warrior who had managed to escape the clutches of a Siren. With Talon's lead, the group has found a strange fortress in a mountain, inactive but easy to defend. It is now, the story starts.

Guidelines:

• When creating a Player Character, tell me before joining so we can discuss it and see if it fits well into the lore and everything. You can have multiple characters.
• You are allowed to create and control NPCs, if you have any questions ask me. NPCs that are often played by me, such as Primary Antagonists or Talon R. Picks, can only be played by me.
• You can do plot things, but don't do anything overly big like "THE WORLD WILL BE BLOWN UP IF THIS HAPPENS WAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH." That's MY job! >:(
• If you god mod then Bedlam will come. The character may or may not survive.
• Although you can kill off other people's characters, please try to avoid spoiling their fun. Either get consent from both parties, or risk your own character with some fair PVP. If you're a prick about it, I might have to intervene.
• Don't be a jerk.
• If delving into main plot sensitive stuff or the mysteries of the world, feel free to bug me so that I can get involved with that, since that IS my department.
• Although you have no real reason to PM, I'd like if you included me in them if they're relevant to this RP. Such as planning to destroy the entire fortress.

I'm sure I've missed a lot, but if you have questions then ask. We have a discord, but this RP will take place in the thread.

[Jalandh]

A thin robed figure wobbles to the fortress, the robe waving and constantly moving even with the lack of wind. As he grows closer, he peers out from under his robe and smiles, eyes glowing green in the darkness

Several guards notice him, and the guard captain calls out.
"Who are you and why are you here?"

[Jalandh]

"I am Human. I was told by..friends of this place. I wish to help!"
The old man calls out, voice raspy as he does.

[YoukCat]

The guards look at eachother with suspicion, before finally opening the gate.
"Don't cause any trouble. Jerry will be watching you."
One of the shorter guards approaches.
"Hello, please follow me."

[Jalandh]

The old man nods before wobbling in, leaning heavily on his staff

[YoukCat]

The gates close behind them.
"So do you need help moving around? You're using that staff an awful lot. Is it connected to your eyes? I mean, you might or might not be human, but most people don't have glowing green eyes. Fairy curses?"

[Jalandh]

"Old wounds from a bad fight. I uh
.lost many friends that day..but no, I shall be fine myself."

[YoukCat]

"Oh, I understand if it's a touchy subject then. I lost many of my family before this apocalypse started. My daughter is still here, thankfully."

[KingoftheRocks]

An armored yet light footed person walks along the road to the fort, whistling a merry tune. He has a cloak with the hood down, a strange helmet, and a headsized spider walking alongside his feet.

[YoukCat]

The Guards notice the armored person.
"Hello there! Who are you and why are you here?"

[KingoftheRocks]

He whispers something in a confident toneto the spider, then waves up at the guard.
"Name's Berry! I was just coming to check this place out! I got the recommendation from a farmer I saved!"

[YoukCat]

"Ah, welcome to the fort, Berry. You may enter."
The gate opens.

[KingoftheRocks]

He goes to enter, but the spider seems reluctant. Berry knels down and seems to hold a discussion with it, before picking it up gently and putting it on his helmet. Hewalks in, waving and grinning at the guards.

[YoukCat]

Having successfully entered, the gate shuts behind him. Berry and his Spiderling are now inside of the fort.

[KingoftheRocks]

The spiderling shakes at the loud noise. Berry says a couple or words to it and it calms almost instantly. He smiles and waves at a nearby guard.
"Sorry, Lija-Rë is a bit skittish sometimes. How are you doing?"
As he walks over to the guard, he readjusts his scabbard and goes into his satchel.

[YoukCat]

"Oh, uh, hey there. Cute spider."

[KingoftheRocks]

Berry giggles and whispers something to the spiderling. The spiderling takes one of the legs it's using to cling to Berry's head and pokes the guard on the forehead.
"She says thanks, and you too."

[Jalandh]

The old man turns and chuckles a bit, eyes glowing in joy at the spider
"Another with the aspect of the Queen I see. That is quite the healthy little one, we must share stories sometime."

[KingoftheRocks]

Berry turned and noticed the man for the first time. He walked over, leaving the guard in shock. The spiderling nestled down on Berry's helmet.
"We really must! Do you need any help?"

[Jalandh]

The old man almost seems to...shutter? When the spiderling and the man approaches
"I am quite alright. Just a bit..weighed down is all."

[KingoftheRocks]

"Ah! It's okay, you can share your burden with me! Where are you heading?"

[Jalandh]

"Not sure yet, I arrived just recently myself..and it's quite alright, we will be fine once I find a place to sit."

[KingoftheRocks]

"Ah!Lija-Rë can scout one out for you!"
He takes off his helmet and sets it down. The spiderling scurries off, causing people to movenout of the way.

[YoukCat]

Jerry watches the spider scurry off.
"You can follow me and I'll lead you to the housing area. You'll have to share a room with eachother, though, because the Fortress is a bit... Small, compared to our population. Also, some of us are a bit paranoid than the others. I wouldn't let your spider run around on it's own, someone might try to squish it. Him? Her?"
