Death is not my boss. Death is more of an emperor to me. My "boss" is perfectly fine with me doing this, as long as it helps us bring the Reloaders into our world. Your glove is not dead, he is merely without his physical form and magical power. Most of the things protecting the crystal are either to guard it from transdimensional beings or common mortals. You are something in between. You are powerful enough to get past the traps, but will not trigger the transdimensional alarms.
