They have a bonus we don't know about.. and it's going to be nigh-on-impossible to work out their partner's role so Sunfire has an advantage in info too.
OBJECTION!
This is clear jury bias!
Overruled!
Votes cannot be objectioned!
Also, you clearly don't know how many members there can be on the jury...
So technically, the trials should all be under srcutiny anyway.
(As far as I'm aware irl, the US and UK Judicial system only allows 12 jury members uwu)
wait that doesn't make sense won't there be ties sometimes? I thought it always had to be uneven to make ties impossible
Edit: looked it up and the judge basically counts as the 13th member of a jury
For decisions, a decision has to be unaminous, though there are at times when a judge may an accept a majority of 11:1 or 10:2. Anything else, then court is adjourned and jury makes deliberations during the evening.
As for the odd number of "jury members", you're thinking of judge's in the supreme court. This is when you need an odd person to make the final decision to break the ties as supreme court decisions are not unaminous, but majority based.
Alsom the Judge doesn't count as a final jury member. They just sit there to make sure that the trial flows properly, and they're the one that hands the sentencing. They're more an impartial third party who listens to the jury's verdict and then create a sentence based on the tariffs they have in front of them.
