Pam or Abner betrayed Maisha and Doc. Maisha betrayed Nicky's group, Nicky's group betrayed me, I allied your group, and I think everyone else allied.

Anyways, in a really summarized sense, people betrayed, Tom assaulted Nicole, and thus everything got fucked up.

She is. They're over in State with the old man. He's nice, I think you'd like him. We can go over there whenever you're ready - promised to meet them there with you. I don't exactly wanna leave you alone with Nicky having a gun.

I'm not saying she's going to shoot us on sight, but I am saying that there's 90% odds she does.

Joan returns the laugh, albeit it seems a bit sarcastic.I guess you could call her paranoid, and since you clearly started on the wrong foot, I doubt she'll ever, like, actually like you. But right now, arguing about a pure maiden's heart isn't our main concern. You know the Fish and Chips Coalition is dead now, right? What's your plan of escape?

[Peter turns to Joan. His eyes are a sad.]

We still need to get us all out, lady. We can't stay at each other's throats. FCC might be dead, but look. We aren't doing anything as is.

Only chance is finding a different way out. Something they didn't think of. Otherwise... someone dies. Nicole, I think, is the one holding the coalition up. We don't kill anyone if we can avoid it. There's got to be something.

He looks at Johnston.

My plan is find another way. I'm not killing the woman, even though I think she's a threat to everyone at this point. It's not in my nature to hurt people. Trust me, I was tempted to knock her teeth out when I grabbed her. I refrained, because that's not my style. I was going to let her beat on me if she wanted. But I wasn't going to let her try and kill everyone.

Joan looks at Peter, and with a more melancholic face and voice, she says; I'd love to think the situation is all great and we'll be able to just roll out with a cool explosion as the U.S.A. magically fixes itself, yet look at what just happened. At this rate, if nothing happens, by the third Strategic Decision, it'll be each one for their own. I'd love to be proven wrong, but... At this point, her tone and face switched from a more melancholic way to a serious one. I want to steel my resolve, rather than grasp at straws.

There's nothing we can do about the US from here. There's no wonder weapon that can fix this.

All we can do is leave and tend to this all as best as we can. And the best we can do is keeping all of us alive. I'm not going to turn my back on people.
