Liam still stood near his own booth, his expression was just complete shock. Barely able to move, to think. He was stuck in an unwinnable game unless he was to do the unthinkable or at least that's how he processed it all in his own mind. To kill or be stuck, any other option would be pleasant but seemed unachievable.

"My trust early on, my frail hope.. it really betrayed me in the end. I should have seen it coming, I should have never fought that voice."

His words were quiet and his tone was almost monotonous. This time instead of being able to hope he had a small chance of a peaceful ending, that hope, that perfect world came crashing down.

"What is the point in keeping going?"

Why, isn't it simple? To enjoy oneself. To find entertainment in this world during the short time one has. Who knows when they're going to die? It could happen at any moment. So, what better to do than make the most of it?

I won't beat around the bush. Besides myself, there's only three other people here who can still escape through the AB Game. And there's three people who by all we know can't possibly escape through the AB Game. By all means, it makes sense they might entertain the idea of pursuing the X-passes route. I'm sure the cult trio can empathize, because they themselves were feeling equally as hopeless a couple of rounds ago.

But let's consider this. Two rounds ago Danny was at 1 point. Right now he is at 9. Things went in his way from a hopeless situation. You could say that was a miracle. It's the hope in another miracle that I have to offer to you three who are in a dire situation.

There isn't much to it, Saeki. I had to kill another person for my own survival, and I lost someone who I shouldn't have. The fact I'm still alive is another miracle. I'm a believer. I want to believe there's still a chance for everyone. That there could be another miracle in the future.
