On the off chance I drank one that was poisoned AND someone had an antidote, they would have an reason to give me the antidote so I could say which one not to pick. If I said what chalice I drank from and was poisoned... you get the picture. It was lark that thankfully did not come to pass.

... I actually can't think of any reason where saying after is malicious because I'll be... dead. Nevertheless I apologize for involving you in my scheme...

The original, rushed plan was that if everyone unknowingly had the same number for which chalice to drink from, then they wouldn't poison their own chalice and thus no one would be poisoned.

It was an incredibly risky plan however for anyone to catch on or suspect what was actually happening, so I am grateful to Darby for proposing the suggestion that allowed us to make a much more well constructed plan.
