Traitor (Neutral Chaos)

Spoiler: Role: Traitor
Alignment: Traitor
Ability: Can either shop for a new ability or kill someone.
Attributes: -None
Special Attributes: -Basic Attack -No Defense
Invest Results for all roles: Traitor, this can change by buying immunity from shop.

Traitor is UNIQUE

Credit Mechanics
Spoiler: Traitor starts with 1 credit. He gains 1 credit each night unless he kills someone. Traitor can bet one who will die in order to attempt to double his credits. He can bet on specifics, such as Target will die to Serial Killer. Or simply say the target will die. Traitor is not allowed to attack if he bets. Traitor also gains credits for every 2 townies that die. Lynching a townie automatically gives traitor 1 credit.

Shop Mechanics
Spoiler: The Shop is done by tiers. Each tier item costs a associated amount of credits.
Tiers are from the most basic abilities to the most OP abilities.
Traitor has access to all abilities in the game, he just needs to spend a lot of points for it.


Ability Mechanics
Spoiler: There is a icon that allows the Traitor to switch between abilities, that active ability will be displayed on the night chat.
Traitor can choose to buy the same ability, so a Traitor could decide "I want everyone to not have the ability to do anything during the night." and buy all of the Roleblock abilities.
Investigative Results Is not counted as a ability.


Shop
Spoiler: Tier 1
Change Your Investigation Result|Witches Defense|Roleblock Ability| Doctor Heal| Illusionist Ability|Additional Execution If Jailor Ability has been bought.
Tier 2
Wittling Attack|Control Immunity|Witch Controlling Ability|Roleblock immunity|Powerful Defense|Poison|Hex|Arsonist Dousing|Rampage Attack
Tier 3
Mayor Reveal | Veteran Ability | Become Pestilence Equivalent| Medusa Ability | Immune to Jailor Executions.|Jailor Ability with only 1 Execution.


Goal
Spoiler: At the beginning of the day the Traitor will get the option to choose 1 of the factions of the game. This faction MUST lose to for the Traitor to win.
Factions Are
Vampires/Mafia/Coven/Town/Neutral Killing
The Traitor has the additional goal of gathering 7 credits throughout the game. He can spend the credits and still have them count to the 7 credits needed.
So if he chooses to betray Mafia or Coven he better hope that the Town doesn't win too fast.
If the Traitor doesn't choose a side to betray he will commit suicide and lose.

Traitor can also buy Invest results.

Note: Each night you gain credits IF YOU DON'T KILL. If you kill your credit production will STOP. You gain Credits like this, N1 + 1 N2 + 1 N3 + 1
You can also gain credits during the day if the town lynches a town member, if the town lynches a mafia you don't gain any credits.

I'm thinking Neutral Evil, but it kills so I can't have it there. So I'll either put it in NK or NC.
Currently it is it's own alignment due to indecision.

Just make it NC. How does it buy stuff? A moon button? How does it get to the higher tier shops? The 4th teir should be changed because it's OP AF

What if I put this in Mafia Killing alignment and make a alternate version for Coven?
Think that would work? I can make it where the Kills can't be done by the Traitor unless he is stronger than the others. He must have powerful attack to perform hits or have mafioso and GF dead.
Traitor does not become GF

I originally had the ranking on the shop go all the way up to 6 tiers. Also the Credit conversion would stop if the Traitor ever made a kill/conversion.
6 Tier has Pestilence Powers, Mayor Ability and the Conversion ability. It costs 6 creds to buy if at 6th tier.

1: It buys stuff via a shop Icon at the top of the screen where the sun icon would be. There is another button that allows it to switch between different tier abilities.
2: It unlocks shops corresponding to the credits it has. It gains 1 credit every time 2 town are lynched, and it gains 1 credit each night. So if it had 2 credits, tier 2 would unlock, if it had 5 credits Tier 5 is unlocked.
3. I might change fourth tier to 6th tier.

Yeah that would be cool, and you should also get a bonus if you guess how they died.

Yeah that would be cool, and you should also get a bonus if you guess how they died.


What about making it like this, you can choose the left button (Like Transporter Options) to bet on a person, a little menu will pop up which you can use to bet on how they die or if they day. The how they die has a 3x Payout and the if they die has a 2x payout. They can also attack on the same person they bet on, but how they died doesn't include traitor kill. This way if a Traitor wanted to play high risk they could bet each kill, and if they are unlucky their target will be protected by a doc and they will have no more cred production.

I think I'm going to submit this role to the testing grounds soon.

I'm probably going to rework it one more time to reorganize the way the Traitor gains credits, and the store itself.

Also I'm thinking about making this Neutral Chaos, so a new goal will come out soon.

So my todo list for this role currently is:
New Goal
Change Alignment to NC
Rework the shop
Add new betting mechanic and edit the way credits are earned.

The Traitor has been updated with a store and Goal.

Put Everything in 3 Tiers since it's hard to get credits most of the time.

Traitor is now finished.

Traitor can no longer buy Jester Abilities.
Traitor can no longer buy Guardian Angel Abilities.
Traitor no longer has investigative
Traitor now has the wittling attack as a option for buy, which wittles the defense of a opponent down.
Killing Ability Limit has been removed.
Transportation Ability has been removed.

Also if traitor reveals as Mayor it will say [Name] Has Revealed Themselves as Traitor!
