I think the idiot of the Town should be present in the game.

Name: Town Idiot

Alignment: Town Support

Abilities: None

Attributes: if you lynched, town will pardon you, but your vote will now count for 0
You will appear as Mafia to the Sheriff

Special Attributes: none

Goal: Lynch all evil-doers

Win Conditions: Win with Town and Survivor

Investigative Results: You target is not what they Appear, they can be a Town Idiot, a Jester, a Framer or a Vampire

Additional Information:
If you lynched, town will realize you are the idiot and will pardon you, but your vote will now count for 0
If you are pardonned, town will not pardon you a second time if ever you are lynched again
If you became a vampire, your vote will count for 1 once again.

I also had an idea about allowing the Town Idiot to have his own alignement and to be able to join mafia, when they are lynched by town, but I'll keep that idea off the board for now

Lore: In each village there is always one guys doing stupid things, having fun and laughing at everyone's "greenhouses". When everyone work, they just have their own little fun in their little world. they don,t know what a dog is and their houses are never cleaned. Yeah, you can guess, they are an Idiot. But in these troubled times, such idiots can appear as mafia to any sheriffs

With the exception that you become a observator and unlike Mayor or Veteran, you cannot vote.
After all, what is worth the vote of an idiot.
And you appear guilty to the investigator and the Sheriff.

At one point, we could also think about removing whisper, why would anyone whisper information to an idiot ?

In my opinion this role kind of sounds completely useless, they waste a lynch for a day, can't vote post-lynch, and can't actually do anything.
The only senario I could see this role being viable, would be if it was a neutral role, neutral chaos, just to mess up the game some more. Town support roles aren't meant to hinder the town, they are meant to help it.

The biggest problem with it is that it is a self confirming Townie that does not impact the game. I do not think that whispers should be removed from it; removing them from Mayors was a big mistake.

If I got this role I'd quit the game and wait those 5 minutes to join again because it's better than being a role that can't do anything

The players are already idiots so this role is already in the game. We don't need more.

Basically a weaker Mayor.
They can both confirm themselves, but Mayor gets 3 votes, while this role gets no votes. Also, Mayor can be confirmed just by clicking a button while Town Idiot has to get lynched. This role's only advantage is that it can whisper, that's about it.

This role doesn't impact the game enough. Well it is confirmed but then on it just takes claimspace away and increases the votes needed to lynch someone.
