well in my opinion, making the Arcanist immune to the bg would be abit too OP. Like the WW, you should just have it that the doc can't protect them but the bg can. Or maybe you should do it reverse, because the doctor can't heal someone attacked by a ww, vampire (i think) or revealed mayor. Seems abit unfair to the doc.
You can change the lore by saying that the boy asked the transporter before asking the doctor and that the doctor agreed to heal the town member but was jailed, so he couldn't do that. He explains this to the arcanist that the jailor interogated him on his way to his moms house and he was the only one who comforted him in the morning and everyone ignored him. Then when he ran in the woods to practice the arts he practiced attacks to counter the bodyguard and/or transporter for ignoring him but not the doctor.
Thats just a suggestion if you wanna flip it around to bg doesn't kill him but he can't kill healed target. It also makes the doctor more important in the game because the bg just straight up kills the killer while the doc only heals the person

You could have edited this in ur other post but nah lol. I don't think we should do that because the Arcanist would basically make the serial killer pointless. I mean this role is already similar to the WW and adding this extra feature would make it more OP
