Coroner - Town Investigative

Coroner - credit for the name goes to eezstreet.

You are the Coroner!

You are an Investigator that takes clues from the dead.

Abilities - Choose a dead person at night and know how many people of their alignment voted "Guilty" at the last lynch.
( Town, Neutral and Mafia are used as "Alignment". Sub-alignments don't mean anything.)

Attributes - None.

Goal - Lynch all criminals and evildoers.

Wins with - Town and Survivors.

Investigation results -
Sheriff - Your target is not suspicious.
Investigator - Your target works with dead bodies. They must be Medium, Coroner or Janitor!
Consigliere - Your target gets leads from the dead people. They must be the Coroner!

Ability message -
You have decided to check dota2reporter's body for leads.
You have instead decided to check dota2's body for leads.
You have found out that (number) Town/Mafia/Neutral voted Guilty on the last lynch.

So you can find the entire Mafia this way:
You have decided to connect Gorilla's alignment to all guilty voters, (Mafioso).
2 People of your target's alignment voted guilty.

Not really necessary as many Mafias have been destroyed through voting patterns without this.

Very interesting, it's 100% unique and original. Hmm...it's not UP, and I don't know if it's OP...let me make a situation. PERFECT! PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT! Add it now devs, it can be helpful but not too OP. 10/10.

N1, sheriff finds mafia.
Sheriff accuses mafia.
Mafia calls sheriff exe.
Town puts the mafia up.
People are thinking whether sheriff is exe, 5 vote guilty, 1 innocent, 9 abstain.
Indentifier checks the mafia, 2 mafia voted guilty, ah I realized at this point that it's fine.

Honestly, I do not think this would work to well :/ Also it does not really help too much with info because anyone can vote guilty.

you can find neutrals and town with this too.

@truegent no this is town investigative because he knows how many town, mafia or neutrals voted guilty.

i'd suggest to limit it to 4 times per game AND/OR change ability from 'vote guilty' to 'abstain' instead (this will also help about the abstain problem as in this tread a bit viewtopic.php?f=9&t=27064)

I'd rate anywhere from 6-8 out of 10.

It's a really creative idea, I can't say I've seen anything like it.
My score would be based on how practical of a role it is (and whether it is too over/underpowered).

This role is alright but potentially overpowered.

"Town member is hung, coroner checks town member. 0 members of the Town voted guilty." Three people voted guilty. You now know they are all non-town roles.


Like wise "5 members of the Town voted guilty" Six people voted. Three abstained. There are only five town roles left. So you know that all of the town voted. One evil and or neutral role voted and the abstainers are not town. This is particularly game breaking for bad guys role as it makes it easy to find all evil roles in a single moment.

this is why scum needs to learn to vote.
