General Rules
  1. Forum Rules - Follow all forum rules and FM rules.
  2. Awards - This isn't even being hosted in the FM section
  3. Prohibited Activities - Don't do these:
    • Gamethrowing - Don't play against your (or your team's) wincon. Bussing is still allowed, of course.
    • Jesting - Exceptions will be allowed for when the player has a good reason for why it will benefit their team.
    • Codes - Codes and encryptions are disallowed. Signals are not, however.
    • Angleshooting - Don't reference (or make arguments based on) mod communications. Copying and pasting any mod communications aside from your night results will get you modkilled immediately. Night results are fine because they're all from a template and fakeable by scum anyway.
    • Editing Posts - You can do an EBWOP if you need to edit your post that badly.
  4. Private Messages - Please put "TGFM XIV" or some variation thereof in the subject of all PMs, as it helps with sorting them.
  5. Whispers - You can either send these directly to the recipient or send them through me. I don't really care as long as I'm included on the PM. Make sure to let everyone know in-thread using #FF40FF pink when doing so.
  6. Modcolor - Don't use #9A3AC0, as doing so may be seen as mod impersonation (and get you modkilled).
  7. Respect - Self-explanatory.
  8. Votes - All votes should be formatted as "/vote [player]". Unvoting can be formatted as either "/vote unvote", "/unvote [player]", or "/unvote".
  9. Proxy Votes - You may submit proxy votes for yourself via PM if you are blackmailed or if you are having trouble with first post approvals. I will announce in-thread when you have done so. You may also submit votes on behalf of anyone that you share a permanent night chat with, as long as you have a good reason to do so. These votes must be submitted in-thread, and you must specify which players you are voting on behalf of.
  10. Activity Requirements - Starting D2, a minimum post requirement of 5 posts will be in effect. Players who have yet to meet this requirement will be prodded 24 hours before EoD. Zero-posting will result in immediate force-replacement, while posting 1-4 times will result in being asked if you still wish to play. Posting 1-4 times on a subsequent day will result in immediate force-replacement.

Additional Setup Information
  • Phase Lengths - Day 1 will be 24 hours long, and all subsequent days will be 72 hours long. Nights will be 24 hours long.
  • Lynches - Majority and plurality lynches will both be in effect starting D2. There will not be a D1 lynch.
  • NoLynching - This is allowed.
  • Ties - These will be resolved in order of whichever player was voted first.
  • Test Roles - These will have double weight when the game is being randed.

If your trap is triggered by an attacking role, it will stop the attack and deal a powerful attack to the attacking role instead.

You may choose to disassemble an already-placed trap at night.

At the end of each night, you will receive a transcript of that night's Vampire chat. The identity of the sender of each message will be redacted. Communications involving the host may be left out of this transcript.

Once all Vampires are dead, you will become a Vigilante with one bullet.

Sabotages will have different effects, depending on your target's role. You cannot sabotage a player twice.

You must spend a night building a gas bomb before you can use it. Gas bombs prevent investigative results from being produced on your target, and your target will appear to be doused on subsequent nights.

Tapping a player will have the same effect as a Spy's bug ability.

Spies will not see the visits of disguised Mafia members.

On even-numbered nights, you can cast a curse on a player.

You will learn the roles of each player who visits your cursed target, but not their identities. If two or fewer players visited your target, one of the visitors will be dealt a basic attack.

Your curses are dispelled if a player is attacked by your curse, if more than two players visit a cursed target in a single night, if purged by a Guardian Angel, or if two nights pass without anyone being attacked by the curse.

If you place a curse on another member of the Coven, you will not be able to place curses for the following two nights.

With the Necronomicon, you gain a powerful attack and detection immunity. Additionally, with the Necronomicon, you can curse a player every night.

Necromancer

Once a potion has been used, you will not be able to use it during the following 2 nights.

With the Necronomicon, you gain detection immunity. Additionally, with the Necronomicon, your potions will no longer have a cooldown.

Goal

Amnesiac

If successful, you will inherit their role.

You will be given a target at the start of the game. Your target cannot be an Executioner, a Jester, or another Guardian Angel.

Each night, you may protect your target, healing them and purging them of negative effects. You may use this ability twice, and you may use it while dead.

If your target dies while you are still alive, you will become a Survivor with no bulletproof vests.

Goal
You win if your target is alive at the end of the game.

Servant

At the beginning of the game, you will be given an employer. You will share a chat with your employer, and you will gain access to any exclusive chats (Mafia chat, Coven chat, etc.) that your employer has access to.

Your employer cannot be a Jailor, Veteran, Mayor, Medusa, Survivor, Amnesiac, Guardian Angel, Executioner, Jester, or Pirate.

Each night, you will carry out your employer's action for them, while your employer stays home.

If you are roleblocked, your employer will carry out their action themself.

Once during the game at night, you may act independently of your employer. When acting independently of your employer, you will be able to use your employer's abilities independently of their command. Your employer will be able to act themself as well when you use this ability, effectively granting an extra use of your employer's abilities.

If your employer dies while you are still alive, you will inherit their role. This takes priority over Mafia promotions.

You may also forgo any night action in order to undouse yourself. You will be informed if you are doused in gas.

On odd nights, you may attack one player. If you do not choose a target, you will attack someone at random.

You will attack one player who visits you each night.

All players who you kill will be cleaned, meaning that their role and will will not be revealed upon their death.

If jailed, you cannot visit anyone, but you will attack one of the Jailor's visitors (or the Jailor if there are no visitors).

If you attempt to visit a jailed player, they will be alerted to your identity.

Serial Killer

Each night, you may choose to attack a player and to heal a player. You must use both abilities, or nothing will happen.

Your heal is functionally identical to a Doctor's heal. If controlled, your attack will be affected, but not your heal.

Goal
You win if you reduce every other faction to a single member. At least two other factions must survive.

Huntsman
Neutral (Chaos)

Abilities
Each day, you may choose a player as your prey.

Each night, you may camp outside a player's house in an attempt to kill your prey. You may also choose to stay home, attacking your prey if they visit you.

If attacked at night, you will stay at home and counter-attack your attacker.

If your target is attacked at night, you will fight off their attacker, losing your basic defense in the process.

You will shoot certain roles instead of your prey if they visit your target.

All players who visit your target will be notified that they saw a Huntsman lying in wait.

You are control-immune.

Goal
You win if you kill your prey.

Pestilence

Each day, you may choose to duel a player the following night. You cannot duel the same player two nights in a row.

When dueling a player, you can choose to use a scimitar, a rapier, or a pistol. Your target will be given the choice to defend themself by sidestepping, wearing chainmail armor, or backpedaling.

You will win the duel and attack your target if you pick the option that corresponds with your opponent's choice. Otherwise, you will lose the duel.

You will roleblock your target on the night that you duel with them.

Goal
You win if you win two duels.

Plaguebearer
Neutral (Chaos)

Abilities
Each night, you may visit a player, infecting them as well as any of their visitors.

You will also passively infect anyone who visits you at night.

At the end of each night, you will receive a list of living players who are currently infected.

Once all living players have been infected, you will become Pestilence. All players will be notified when this occurs.

Goal
You win if you become Pestilence and fulfill your new win condition.

Vampire

Each night, your faction will vote on a player to attempt to convert into another Vampire. The youngest Vampire will carry out this action.

If successful, you will be unable to convert a player the following night. If unsuccessful, a basic attack will be dealt to the target.

If there are already 4 living Vampires, your target will always be attacked instead of being converted.

Goal
You win once all who will not submit to the Vampires are dead.

Are you making any modifications to any roles (before this becomes a thing)

You can submit actions on behalf of your teammates, but each person has the final say in their own action

Proxy vote rules are laid out in the OP

Only role that I've really modified is Rolestopper, as detailed in the OP. Judge will be able to self-object in this setup, the same as it was able to in TGFM XII.

The first rule means that you can't do stuff like making gibberish posts that only your teammates can understand, but you can give other signals and whatnot. It hasn't really been an issue in past games afaik.

EBWOP means "edit by way of post". It's when you edit a post by quoting it and editing the quote (and giving some indication that you have edited it).

I should probably also clarify that the window for submitting day actions will close at either EoD or when majority is reached, as night begins immediately afterward.

After reconsidering, I have decided to not change my mind.

(I'm randing the game in such away that each slot will have a 4/7 chance of being Town, a 1/7 chance of being Mafia, a 1/7 chance of being Coven, and a 1/7 chance of being Neutral)

I didn't mod bias a role tho... I mod braised a alingment and
anti mod biased a subalingment..
