A Serious Statement Regarding The Game

Town of Salem is being sold to EA. We are proud to announce that Electronic Arts will be buying Town of Salem for $3.50. Thus, all prices for taunts and scrolls will be doubled and loot boxes will be implemented in exchange for the potion brew implementation.

A second statement is that there will be another Kickstarter coming out soon! This one will be Town of Salem Monopony, where it is exactly Monopoly but just with Town of Salem roles and outdated memes.

A third statement will be that within the next 48, global moderators will be changed into Universial Moderators in accordance with Global Rules XVII Article VII. Thus, with these new moderation rules, we are free to execute any bystander we deem to be breaking the rules or exploiting the game and forums for nefarious purposes.

A fourth statement will be that Trial System will conduct a new overhaul on itself, changing the original language to Turkish. Everything will become Turkish now, and must contain a Turkish translation. Forums will implement this system in the upcoming months after the Trial System is par to code.

A final statement that shall be given today on December 7th 2017 is that the forums will be implementing a brand new forum rule to help out the ideology of signatures and create a new universal rule regarding so: Any signature with an FM Win/Loss count will be immediately removed and the user will be send to a forum camp to understand that no one really gives a shit abut your FM score and telling people constantly about it makes people annoyed.

Hey guys! I'm the new community manager for Town of Salem under the new ownership by Electronic Arts (EA).

Rest assured that the game will become a lot better under the company's hands. Things will change for the better, even if they aren't so good at first!


The first thing we're going to be doing is turning Town of Salem from Free to Play (F2P) to Pay to Play (P2P). This will allow us to prevent trolls from ban-evading easily and clear out a lot of toxicity that is unnecessary. Town of Salem will be available for the low, low price of $9.99!

Next is we will be getting rid of the 'Merit Point' system and go back to just having Town Points. This will allow us to get rid of the 'Pay for Cosmetics' issue with some items being premium items that require money purchases.

The third thing we will be changing is resetting everyone's progress in the game and give everyone a starting balance of 4500 Town Points. This will allow players to buy several cosmetics right off the bat. However, with resetting everyone's progress, all achievements must be re-earned, and Ranked will be completely reset. No legacy will exist after the reset, but future seasons will contain legacy records.

Finally, we will only allow a total of 4 games per day to be played by the players. To play more, you will have to purchase plays. These plays range in different price ranges (see what I did there?), from 1 Play for $4.99 to 30 Plays for $99.99. There are other increments available, such as 5 Plays for $18.99, 10 Plays for $34.99, 15 Plays for $52.99, 20 Plays for $70.99, and 25 Plays for $85.99.

All of the GMs need to be fired, and replaced with corporate hacks who get paid not to care, rather than work for free not to care.
