The Ending to Samurai jack season 5 made me cry.

The Call backs, and the bitter sweet ending, along with that I started watching the show back when it started as a child.

Spoiler: They couldn't have given us a worse ending. While I was watching Jack fight Ashi the entire time I was hoping Jack would grab the sword and either kill or purify Ashi, not any of that I love you breaking her free bullshit. After that they decided instead of keeping Jack in the future as a hero and seeing how he saved everyone they would change history so the show never even happened in the first place. Also why did Ashi suddenly die at the wedding when she should have died when Aku was killed?

Season 5 was about Jack and Ashi, not Jack and Aku. Once these kids stop flipping out over romance in a kids cartoon they'll see that.

The internet kinda sucks in the way that it allows everyone to be a critic. Before, the only analyses of a work were meticulously laid out in print, thought upon, slept upon, edited, reviewed, and then finally published. It let people have actual GOOD perspectives on fiction.

Now anyone without a brain stem can vomit up shitty, half-baked opinions and be validated for it.

Spoiler: If episode 8 of the reboot wasn't so god awful I would have enjoyed the romance more. IMO the high point of the reboot was the episode before the finale. That episode was done way better than the finale.
