Final Fantasy games
for a long time they were the very best JRPG's had to offer. and so there are now 15 main entries in the series and dozens of spin-offs.
and most of these games follow the some t
- The main character is a no-nonsense dude or woman with an epic sword. wait, they're not? then you can choose the class and assign the role anyway. or you're playing FF9
- the "girls" in the party are eather the healer/summoner or the thief-person. if both roles are filled, she's the black mage
- there is at least one mechanic in the party. he's a guy. always
- you ride chocobos for about 5 minutes and then they become obsolete. somehow these are the mascots of the series
- the world is medievil, but somehow magi-tech is a thing?
- you will encounter guns, but your party is just fine with all their melee weapons
I'm probably forgetting a bunch of tropes they follow. but what would you want to see? what trope needs changing?
for me, I want Shirou as the main character yes I have seen log horizon. no I am not obsessed with it. I just think it would be interesting for the main character to be a support class for once
