Im tired. ;w;
My math grade dropped again and i know im not going to be able to pass it by the end of the year, unless our teacher whips out extra credit which is unlikely. T^T

I don't know what's "slope" (I don't speak English perfectly) but the other 2 are easy. If you have problems with some exercise or something post it here and I'll help you if I'm online.

Slope is essentially the angle of the line. It is Rise/Run. So if a line from point to point goes up 3 and over 3, then the slope is 3/3 or 1.

Ooooh. Inclination (here is "inclinación", which is translated as inclination).

Linear means that x is only to the power of one. So it can't be cubed or anything like that.

Well...
Okay, let's not get into this.

You have an equation like this y = ax² + bx + c
Do -b/2a and that will give you the point X of the vertex (being the vertex X;Y it will give you that X)

Now replace that point in the first equation.

So, let's say that you have
y = 2x² + 4x + 12
then you do
-b/2a. That would be -4/2*2 and it's equal to -1. So the vertex is in -1;Y
Now you replace the X with -1
y = 2*(-1)² + 4*(-1) + 12 and that will give you the point Y of the vertex (in this case, 10, so the vertex is the point -1;10)
