Please, people untill you are at least around 18, all your relationships are just temporary and you know nothing of love.

Feeling romantic attraction in such a young age is completedly okay, especially if its without sexual desire.

Too many teens feel sexual desire and lack any sort of romantic attractions. Thats just sad trend in the modern age.

Either way, whether you are 12 or 14 you are still a kid and you have a lot of time to worry about those things. And just because you fit a definition that applies to adult person in productive age, it doesnt make you that.

Can confirm young relationships are usually dumb. It's rare to actually get something going that will last. By far the majority of the relationships I see are desire based and that's sad. Every once in a while I see something genuine and I get really happy for the two, but it's rare.

Source: 17 year old who (I'm not kidding, as cliché as it sounds) was going to commit suicide until I got into a genuine relationship with someone who had anorexia. Because of the relationship, I'm no longer suicidal and she's finally eating well, so I quite literally have her to thank for my life. It's not impossible, just rare.

Basically me. Kind of. I'm not even sure how to define myself anymore and it's quiet upsetting for stupid reasons.

Not that that matters, though, because I'm in it for the long haul with my dork. To the previous comments, hate on it because of age if you want. Younger relationships are just as valid as any other. I'm pretty certain I understand the concept of love, thanks.

It's okay to explore at such a young age. You don't really have a right to go in and call someone's relationship dumb because they're in like, 7th grade. Yeah, it seems silly to have a relationship that early, but that doesn't mean it's only temporary. Let them work it out themselves. Not everyone is the same.
