Honestly. This forum is essentially inactive anyways, and the posts won't count to flairs, either.

I can understand back then when there's still lots of active forumers on the lounge and bandwagons happening like every single week, but now it will just hinder the people who are still active here and the ones who spammed posts are already moving on with their lives.

If you can understand why it was implemented then something is wrong with you. There should have never been a rule that states a one thread per week cap. There were salty kids complaining about having their eyes sore from seeing threads they didn't want to see.....in the lounge. If you want to have an online social life where you take off-topic discussions literally, maybe town of salem lounge isn't the place to satisfy that...

Sorry for the rant, but I really hate the mods around here. I'd go more in depth but I'm sure I'd get another board warning.

My argument is since the forum's dead anyways,
It's just a hassle for both mods and anyone else who's still here to count exactly 7 days after each thread is posted.

I can finally religiously oppose this petition. We shouldn't remove the quota. We should make the amount of time you have to wait longer.

Exactly. People got mad that the lounge wasn't being treated like off-topic discussion....when they can just go to off-topic discussion. So the rule was made. Mod above says it won't be removed. Why not just remove the lounge? If you don't want shit posts, delete the section thats only purpose is shit posting.

The posts don't count here for a reason. I've been to many "forums" and the mods ruin shit every time and this is no different. I would 100% agree if people were spamming the suggestion forum or w/e, but this is like limiting questions people ask in ask questions section. It just doesn't make sense. Oh well.

The reason the forum was created was BECAUSE people were shit-posting in Off-topic. The rule itself was made because people were still spamming anyways, so M4x made the rule and we've ran with it since.

Not sure what kinda response you want, since you know how this forum operates, and you've been around only a month less than I have.

If every internet forum you go to has rules and procedures you don't like, the problem isn't the forum and it's staff; it's you. Sorry to burst the bubble.
