The GF literally has full control over the mafioso, has more immunity, and has higher stats.
It's literally the perfect counter.

also Brilliand agrees that your counter is not really a counter soooooooo
and anyway it's not like the gf can actually do anything to harm the Mafioso
the gf can't actually kill the Mafioso during the night like the trans can kill the Jailor during the night by switching tplos off of him and evils onto him

Well no, Unstoppable attack. I could see a Lookout, Tracker or Mayor being effective. Or any of the Transporter counters, I suppose, because the larval form is a double-visitor.
