Suspended for Leaving Match

My account was suspended because I “left a game while still alive.”
The reason I think this is unfair is because I was a vigilante, who shot a townie, and was gonna die the next morning. Is it really suspension-worthy to have left after the day was over, because I had to do stuff irl? I don’t personally think that I should be suspended for leaving like 30 seconds before I died.
