How long does a name change typically take?

I bought a new account name out of the shop about half an hour ago and it hasn't changed yet. I'm not saying I expected it to be changed immediately, I assume it will take a few hours, but I'm just wondering how long it should take for my account name to b changed.

Check if money were taken from your bank account or if an error occured. Sometimes this happens.

Type in the name again on the name change screen, that's what I had to do.
