I understand why it's required for screenshots but is there any alternative?
I still play on browser since my account is from before the paywall so when I take unedited screenshots and post them people will see my geographical location and weather, names from contacts, and other personal information. The system gives no solution to people in my situation and just assumes people play on Steam or mobile for their screenshots.

you can screeshot only your browser window. This does count as an unedited/uncropped screenshot.
Also unless you want to use the weather/contacts, etc. you can disable that from your task bar as well.
