The thing is, no one knows for sure (except the devs because duh)
I originally thought these were going to be revamps of preexisting skins as per this thread from back in the day, but with the reveal of the Pilgrim skin it turns out that isn't the case.
Whether or not this skin is designed to correspond to a new role is not answered anywhere on the forum or the BMG website, grumble grumble grumble

Yea but he has a pitchfork, which angry lynch mobs at the time always had (If we can trust TV and movies to be historically accurate) And psychologically, town in ToS is basically an angry lynch mob (I even prey on that mentality as jester)
