(Now 11/7/15)Today we are going to be releasing
Patch 1.3.0. This patch will bring with it some fantastic things. Both the
Vampire, and
Vampire Hunter will be added in this patch, a skin and house for both of these roles, a tutorial to help introduce new players to the mechanics of the game, we upped the timeout for leaving a lobby to 15 so that it stops players from joining and leaving lobbies to prevent games from starting, we reduced the max number of Mafia that can be in a game to 5, we made the Werewolf immune every night, not just full moon nights. and we added the 5 minute timeout, for leaving a game while alive, that is in ranked, to all games. We also made a very large amount of bug fixes!

FeaturesVampire and Vampire Hunter!* The
Vampire is part of a new category of roles called Neutral Chaos, this means they can only show up in a game as the Any, or if they are explicitly put into the game. The Vampires are a conversion based role that will convert other players to Vampires. They start the game able to turn a player to their side night one. They have to wait to turn another player after they turn another player, or if the conversion fails due to immunity. All of the Vampires can see who the other Vampires are, and can talk to each other at night like the Mafia. The Vampires vote on who to turn the nights that they can, and if a vote is tied, then a random target between the tied votes is selected. Vampires are not immune, and there are several roles that are immune to being converted. Mafia roles, night immune roles, the Witch, and the Vampire Hunter can't be converted. The amount of Vampires in a game is soft capped at 4(This means the only way to get more than 4 Vampires is to have 4 already, then have an Amnesiac remember they were like a Vampire). The investigative results for the Vampire is: Your target is covered in blood. "They could be a Doctor, Serial Killer, or Vampire."
* The
Vampire Hunter is a Town Killing role that can not be rolled unless there is a Vampire in the game. He can visit a player every night to check to see if they are a Vampire, if they are, then he will stake them. If any Vampire visits the Vampire Hunter then he will stake them. If the player that he visits is not a Vampire, then the player is left alone. The Vampire Hunter can read the Vampire night chat like how the Spy can read the Mafia night chat. If all of the Vampires die, then the Vampire Hunter is still useful to the Town because he becomes a Vigilante with one bullet. The investigative results for the Vampire Hunter is: Your target takes charge. "They could be a Mayor, Godfather, or Vampire Hunter."
Tutorial* This patch sees the addition of a tutorial for new players. This tutorial takes the player through their first game in a scripted manner explaining the basic mechanics of the game, and leads them to their first victory!
Leave lobby timeout increased to 15 seconds* There was already a timeout for leaving a lobby, but it was only 10 seconds. We increased it to 15 so that players who left a lobby when the countdown started, would have a harder time rejoining the game before they could start the game again.
Mafia reduced to 5This has been asked for a lot, and has been for a long time now. We decided that we would go ahead and do it. This should make all you All Any players very happy because a game with 6 Mafia was very difficult to win for anyone else.
Werewolf is night immune every nightThe Werewolf is now immune every night, not just nights there is a full moon.
Leaving a game while alive (in any mode) causes a 5 minute timeout* We have heard all the complaints from the community, and are listening to them. This system has been in place in ranked for a while, and is not planned to be the final system to deal with leavers. For now this should help to reduce the amount of leavers in games.
Fixed Bugs:Candy’s lynching animation no longer loops.
Notification sounds will now play again.
Jailed Vigilante now cannot select to shoot someone only to have it fail. The option to select someone is now gone.
Amnesiacs that had remembered medium no longer has a weird placement of their seance button.
Amnesiacs that had remembered medium will not have their seance button show up while alive.
There is, once again, a sound playing when the countdown to start a game starts.
Improved pet animations during he 'Last Words' phase so they aren't frozen.
Forger will not get the “On Strike” Janitor achievement when forging no wills in a game.
Amnesiac turned Exe can no longer have a Mayor as his target, even a revealed one.
Exe can no longer have a Spy as his target.
If the WW stays home it will no longer count as him attacking himself giving the message that he attacked someone.
When a Framer visits an on alert Vet, the Vet will now correctly kill anyone who visits him.
Doctor no longer has a button to heal a Mayor once they revealed.
Doctors can no longer heal a revealed Mayor when the Mayor is attacked by a Werewolf.
Exe while get a message that his target was successfully lynched once again.
When an Arsonist selects to douse, then changes his mind, he will now clean himself of gas.
Edit: Added in the part about the max Mafia being reduced to 5, and full Werewolf Immunity.
