You can hyper train IV's. Also I'm almost certain you can edit the type of Hidden Power somehow

I havent checked the IVs as I havent hatched the 20 eggs yet, but I dont expect anything good from it.

I hatched the required 20 eggs (ty spinaraks and your quick breed/hatching.), now I have to do the battle (not saying who to advoid spoilers) in order to unlock the IV checker.

Im not looking forward to it...

(Sidenote, I cant be the only one who didnt like how 3 of the type Z crystals were just found in the wild rather than from a trial, right?)

After looking through the grass on route 3 for a 1% Bagon on my first playthrough of the game, the first one I found was Adamant.

Ive been ditto chaining for a ditto with HP IV full, but I keep catching dittos with HP (No Good) instead.

I'm having no luck with ditto chaining.

I finally get well above the 4IV chain level, I swap into my offense, then knock off the original. After I knock it off the original, the chained SOS calls, I knock that one off, then it calls again, etc. When it doesn't call, I throw an Ultra Ball, it escapes and calls again. The process repeats until the chained struggles to death, losing the 40 chain I had ._.

This happened twice today

So, I'm looking for a ditto with a perfect IV in HP. I have a ditto with A, Spa, D, Speed IVs that I can trade off for the ditto in question.

Which is why you get a Smeargle, make the Ditto transform in to that said Smeargle. With your Smeargle use recycle that you will teach through a different method so the Ditto Smeargle can sketch. Switch to a Pokemon that can give items with a move while it holds a Leppa berry.

You now have a Ditto that is a Smeargle that will never run out of PP. Proceed to have a Pokemon that knows Substitute so the called in Ditto can't transform into your Pokemon. (I'd go with Butterfree and Compound eyes) Make it also run Sleep powder to put the Ditto you want to catch to sleep and proceed to catch since it can't call in for help.

Now you can chain Ditto's for however long you want with no worries of switching.

I thought destiny knot passed down 5 random IVs of the holder, not 5 out of the 12 Ivs, so when I saw the IVs of the first rowlet I hatched i was confused af. I also thought the IVs came from the parents 3 &3 with no item rather than random without items >.>

(If it wasnt obvious, this is my first pokemon game/time breeding)

I eventually got a better 5IV spread than the original rowlet, so Im aight for now. Ill attempt for the hidden ability later.

Curious noob question, if both parents are holding a destiny knot, will 10 IVs pass through?

I was using the smoke ball on my recycle move pokemon, so I kept leaving if it wasn't a ditto. I kept getting Cleffas left and right, then all the sudden a shiny Skarmory

I also have a few different natures, but the IVs on those vary greatly (minimun of 2 IVs full, max is 5).

(Natures dont matter unless you use an everstone correct?)

Nature will always be random unless one of the parents are holding an everstone. The parent that is holding the everstone has its nature passed down.

Started Gible breeding now. Im looking for a male with the IVs I want, but I keep getting females with the ivs >.>

After 20-30 eggs, I finally got me a 31/31/31/31/31/x IV gible in an ultra beast ball with a jolly nature (party)

I use it when it actually works and I want to play. I'd have to reinstall it if I wanted to play it, probably, because patching is broken. But I make sure to redeem everything I get because why not.
