Not sure what you mean by tried, because both of those are bisexual. I tend to find girls more pleasing but I'm not gonna go around and chant "haha yeah I love girls a lot but maybe sometimes guys are okay".

There's no real reason to go around yelling what your sexuality is whatever it is. That's why you decide what you need to say depending on the context.

So like if you were interested in a guy and they were like "but I thought you were gay or something" then you could be like "usually xd"

Any UK transguys know about the costs for blockers? I'm thinking about taking the private route cause it will be over a year until I can get blockers with the NHS and I don't think I'm up to waiting by then. Plus, by then my body shape will have changed and that's irreversible. Just concerned about the costs.

Sorry if this sounds a little ignorant, this may have already been answered on the thread, but what's the difference between being transgender and being transsexual?

I personally am heterosexual, I would just like to further educate myself on the LGBTQ+ community.

Some website I found describes Transgender as Gender Identity not matching birth sex, and Transsexual as transitioning from one sex to the other

I see it as transgender being more of an identity and a catch-all definition, an umbrella term covering transsexuals, non-binary people, and anyone transitioning into/identifying as a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth

Transsexual, however, I usually take to mean that they have begun their physical/medical transition (i.e taking hormones, getting surgery etc)

I personally am heterosexual, I would just like to further educate myself on the LGBTQ+ community.

I'm surprised that in a country so full of old ladies judging people (cough I know many cough), in my campus there still manages to be an LGBT "support group", with fliers on the bulletin boards, and apparently there was a competition for the best drag outfit(?).

I'm actually curious as to what those are like but it makes me wish I lived in a different country from family so that I could actually go and find out.


On the personal side, I still like the idea of genderlessness but so hard because I do like some feminine stuff.

My boyfriend broke up with me, and i have no one around me who could comfort me because Im still closeted.

I wish I felt comfortable enough to come out so I dont have to keep a straight face when my dad ask me "Oh hows your bestfriend doing in school," or another question about him. It was already hard enough to make sure I dont slip up when I talk about him when we were dating, now its going to be harder to not react when someone ask about him, or give them a reason for why I dont talk about him any more.
