Have games influenced your musical taste?

For me it'd be definitely a yes,the GTA series pretty much shaped my musical taste, it was thanks to San Andreas that i started listening to rock music, it was because of Vice City that i started listening to 80's music,it was because of GTA V that i've recently started listening to indie music.I'd have most likley liked these genres anyways but GTA showed me the best these genres have to offer and from there i started discovering new songs and artists.

Final Fantasy (specifically FFXIII) had influenced me to listen to more orchestra related music.
Bayonetta influenced me to listen to more late 1900's music, jazz, and up-beat music.

Pretty much the majority of my video games are the ones I listen to, such as the two I had stated.

Video game music is best music.
I swear all the songs I actually listen to on my phone are from Geometry Dash, Zelda, some game, Undertale, and a few odd ones like the amazing drop thing.

I guess a few games have shown me a few bands. From those bands, I got into a few subgenres of genres I already enjoyed but that is about it.
