Public Service Announcement: Turning off Daylight Savings

For those of you in the USA, Canada, and several American islands, Daylight Savings Time ended today. For those of you in Europe, it has ended over the past week. For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, it may just be starting. I'm going to take this opportunity to show people how to turn off Daylight Savings Time on the forums.

Step 1 - Click User Control Panel
Step 2 - Click Board Preferences
Step 3 - Change "Summer Time/DST is in effect" - or change your timezone if that's wrong.

I wanted to make a PSA about it. But why do that when I can bring up an old one to remind people?

Nowadays computers figure out for themselves whether daylight savings time is in effect. You don't need to tell them (some exceptions may apply).

It needs to be done manually via user settings on phpBB.
