I mean, as far as books go, that +5% defense up to 10m one is pretty tame. Books like the +30% gains to a stat for a month are much more powerful.

10m is meh, You can gain that in 2 days/

With restaurant I do 5.4m a day average, 720e from cans.

That makes me wonder if I have been training all wrong, which I probably am.

I got married (again) to a person some rich person. This person lets me live in their PI which is rented, only if I pay the upkeep and 10 million dollars when the rent period is over.

It's great for both of us as:
1. I don't have to pay for the PI
2. "My wife" (quotation mark very important) doesn't have to pay for the upkeep.
3. We both get a little richer with the airstrip.

I also got a job at a grocery store where I have to give the owner (I forgot the offical name) 2 cans per month.

Feels great man.

What's even better is finding a spouse who owns a PI.

Seriously, the new merit for using a stat enhancer is called "Worth it" ._.

RIP 450m though, mathematically I could have gotten 16.7m gains from using that money in cans, but that wouldn't have gotten me a merit, so whatever.

We know there's a merit called worth it.

I started playing Torn fairly recently. It's enjoyable so far, although I'm hoping the effects of IRL money spent on the game decrease as time spent playing the game increases. I kinda feel overshadowed by the noobs who have Donator Status.

Donator status is pretty much crucial to getting ahead in the game, but you can obtain it through in-game means. Donator packs sell in the item market just like regular items, you can buy them from the market with money you gained in-game.
