I checked it after a long time and noticed all threads were archived. Why was that?

The games that got moved were long over. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

Not really. Some of them hadn't even started. Even some hubs were archived.

Well, some of them didn't start because not enough people joined or the host lost interest. If there's a hub that people want to bring back into the main forum then they can PM a GMod regarding that. But the only hub that was really that active that I can think of is BtM, which was pretty inactive anyway.
