It might seem stupid.... but how do I cook eggs on a stove? I never actually done it before.

Well here's my strategy.

What you will need: Eggs, sliced cheddar cheese, a bowl, a fork, a frying pan, butter, a spatula, and a knife.

Part 1: Readying the eggs.

Crack 2 eggs. Use the fork and beat them. Once the eggs are beaten, take 1 slice of cheddar cheese and tear it up a bit to put in the eggs. Then beat the eggs again.

Part 2: Readying the frying pan.

Take the knife and get some butter. Melt enough to cover the bottom of the pan. (It doesn't need to be a mini-sea, just enough that you can coat the bottom of the pan.) This both makes the cleanup easier afterwards and will add some flavor.

Part 3: Cooking the eggs.

Now that you've got a hot pan with melted butter, dump the bowl of beaten eggs in. I personally prefer using a plastic slotted spatula. When the bottom layer of the eggs is getting cooked, use the spatula to bring the cooked part up so that the uncooked liquid part starts getting cooked. Doing this will help give a nice texture to the eggs and avoid burning. The more you do this the better, but you can also let it go for a bit. (So you don't have to get EVERY new line of cooked egg.) Make sure to wiped the spatula along the edge of the pan to minimize the raw egg left of the spatula. Once your eggs are all cooked, you're ready to eat.

Well, n00ne23, every time I order scrambled eggs at a restaurant I invariably get disappointed and prefer my own. So I figured I'd put out my process as it seems to work.

But I did realize that I forgot one thing.

Part 4: Eating the eggs.

For this step we shall assume you have used the slotted spatula to remove the eggs from the pan and onto a plate. For eating I prefer a spoon, however a fork should be sufficient. If you have toast this is also good, but not necessary. If you have toast you may consider taking some of the eggs and placing them on top of buttered toast, creating a half-sanwich of sorts. Feel free to eat the toast and eggs separately though. For eating the eggs make sure to take small chunks at a time. Put your spoon/fork full of eggs into your mouth and savor the taste. "Hmmmiiinggg" in pleasure at the exquisite taste of your fine eggs is optional, but you may wish to add this in for added enjoyability.

One does not simply eat eggs. It must be a highly elaborate and fine-tuned culinary experience. Only a troglodyte would simply "eat eggs" instead of immersing themself in the exquisite exhibition of taste and nourishment.
