The article is about a movie with a Bonnie and Clyde like duo (though I think it says the context is they are mistaken as criminals) and it’s trying hard to address the question of “Bonnie and Clyde, but black” but in a white bad wokeness way that Vox often wades into.

I've gotten multiple ads on Spotify for this movie and the movie claims "to show what it is truly like being black" and the ads include supposed critic reviews such as "it's the blackest movie you'll ever see."
