Question

Why is it easier to talk to people on the internet about your problems then people in real life?

This, plus the degree anonymity. As I have gotten older, I have become less open on the internet, especially as I've come into my 20's. So when I was a teen, I was more open to talking about stuff that is rather personal on the internet with people I had only just befriended, whereas now in my 20's, I keep that stuff to my circle of friends, whether it be my gaming buds that I've known for years or a few good friends that I know in person.

Because of anonymity. You can tell strangers online anything and, because none of us really know you, you do not suffer any repercussions like you would in real life. In real life if you shared certain things you worry that people would see you differently. Treat or talk to you differently, or not at all. On here, it doesn't matter because nobody really knows you anyways.

This.

Depends on who you ask.
School, fuck no.
irl Friends, I guess but I wouldn't want to bring my problems upon them.
Random guy on the street, Yes ofc.
Family, best bet.
