Brooke has yet to give a more detailed alibi and any sort of investigation result. Illumidi's suspicion is more than valid.
We still don't know what happened in the garden. Seeing as the southern part was burned and the victim supposedly died in the north, would it be possible he was the one to start the fire? And he was planning to burn the north part too before dying? Or is the fire happening way too convenient for the killer?
I don't know. Perhaps a more thorough investigation on both the body and garden would have helped.
I will vote Brooke in order for the 50/50 rule to occur.
"Hmm... So you decided the culprit is... Oh, wait, you didn't decide. You decided to not decide between Brooke and Illumidi, but thought Erika and Marcella didn't kill the Knight.
...
Interesting.
Well... The conclusion of the trial is...
...
...
Spoiler:You got that wrong, again.
Spoiler:It was Marcella. I didn't expect her to kill again, but... I didn't expect a lot of things in that one. I guess she will leave, because I heard she saying she want to avenge for... someone.
Spoiler:Normally I gotta decide who will be executed for being found guilty, and who will be as colleteral damage, but, let's follow the votes this time. Brooke and Illumidi will be executed for being guilty and colleteral damage. Also a very hard final game awaits you, Erika. Puhuhuhuhuhu."
Execution(s) will be posted in 20 hours. You may post again.
Writing this as of N3A3, currently outside the garden's west entrance. Taking these notes in case I wind up dead tonight.
During N3A1 I went to the Principal's office, took the papers, and tried to see through the redactions by holding them up to the light. Unfortunately, they weren't redacted by hand, so that didn't work. It was at this point that the fire alarm went off.
During N3A2 I went to the area outside the garden's western entrance and kept watch in hopes of catching the arsonist red-handed. That didn't work, but I did note that the garden doors were locked.
As I said I would, I disposed of the slip of paper with the password on it. You'll find a lighter missing from the storage room, which I used for this purpose.
I can confirm that Marcella was in the tech lab during D3A2. During this time I took a really neat gadget that can transform itself into any weapon. There's a nonzero chance that Marcella got their hands on a similar item.
I'm 100% certain that there were people in the garden while it was locked N2. There's probably an alternate entrance that they used.
I would recommend having everyone mod-reveal their FAs during the trial. It probably won't hurt at that point.
(Not checking the notebook was completely my fault. My ability of scanning but being able to ask questions has a limited amount and I didn't think to look at his inventory too closely.)
Okay. That much discussion of the last trial is enough. It's time for executions and our blackened to leave! Puhuhuhu. Oh, also, Erika. You may say a goodbye from the corridor behind the trial room. But don't try something stupid. Now, without any further addition
IT'S PUUUUNISHMENT TIME!!!
With this, Monokuma hits the red button in front of him with a hammer and then pulls Brooke Melodia and Illumidi Nati to the area behind trial room. He then comes back and tells other two that they can go to the area as well, which they do. Nani follows them when Monokuma watches them from the monitor.
Spoiler:As Brooke and Illumidi waits in front a room and prepares to take their bracelets off, something happens.
First a small explosion voice is heard from the trial room, and then all lights went off. "What's happening? Erika screams when Brooke turns to Marcella "So, that was what you meant, huh?"
-flashback in-
Marcella is seen as looking around... for something in the trial room. She finally becomes happy as she saw an empty, unplugged electric socket. She takes some tool out of her pocket, plugs it in the socket, do something more with it and then mumbles "I hope that works."
-flashback out-
Afterwards, Marcella says that "We should be quick, Erika, Illumidi, Brooke, let's take the bracelets off immedieatly and run to the escape door. We're escaping." Illumidi answers with "Wait, why you are helping us now? That is suspicious." when Erika asks "Won't you take your bracelet off first?" Marcella shows her bracelet, which is shining as red. "It was hard to hide that for all trial, but I already got rid of it. Let's hurry up."
You have 24 hours to decide what are you doing next. PM me what you want to do. You may discuss with others in thread (You may post). No action= you will follow what others are doing.
Marcella runs her hands through her pockets looking for something. She gives a worried smile checking on something I'll crack open the door, get rid of your watches in the meantime. Now might be the time to mention if you have anything that could help with getting away. The distraction will only last so long.
Escape? What absolute nonsense. I've never even noticed that there was an escape. This all seems like a trap. You've already killed The Pink Knight and have almost gotten Brooke and me executed. I bet you're trying to get Erika killed off too, aren't you?
... ... ...
However, there does not seem to be any plausible alternatives other than cooperating with you. Very well, I will remove my bracelet and help you accomplish whatever you're attempting.
In my possession are some explosives. After I remove my bracelet, I'll be setting these up so that the wall collapses behind us after we go through that door.
(I hate it when I wrote sth for several minutes but then it is lost due to log-out. Hopefully will finish this again shortly and start intermission. I feel dumb.)
Marcella was doing something with a tool she just pulled off from her pockets as Brooke, Illumidi and Erika took off their bracelets. After that, they (including Nami) run towards the exit door when Illumidi mentioned that he will cause an explosion around the door so they cannot be followed.
Upon arrival, Marcella said that she will try her own eye first, and if it doesn't work then other ones she prepared. Luckily for everyone, it worked and the door has opened. Illumidi mentioned that explosives will be ready shortly when Marcella screamed "We, are, leaving!!" as the ladies left from the door, left Illumidi behind to work.
-Black screen-
BAM!
Suddenly, Marcella was lying in front of the stairs at the outside of the door, when Erika was holding a shovel. Both Brooke and Illumidi were in shock, when Erika was seen like calm. "Yeah, we are leaving, but not a killer like you." She then told Illumidi to be quick with explosives as she checked Marcella's pulse, and got suprised.
"Wow. Still alive? It seems our cold-blooded murderer had a really fighting spirit. Still, doesn't matter." She then picked up the shovel and prepared to hit it again.
"No, please stop. If you kill her, you become like her, a killer, a murderer, do you really want this?" Brooke said these to Erika while she was holding her arm. Erika answered with "Fine. But she is not coming with us, I don't want to risk my life to save a killer." As she pocketed the shovel, Illumidi came back with saying he setted up the explosives and its timer to 2 minutes, so they should leave. Brooke and Erika agreed, and then these three started walking from the only road.
Nami stared to the Marcella for a while. She was clearly unconscious, not moving and only lying in front of the stairs. It then run to the group of three. As it arrived, they were discussing whether they made the right call about Marcella or not. As the group was walking, voice of explosion is heard from the building.
Also let me clarify this before it is asked. Chapter 4 will be endgame. Marcella is still alive, but given they are unconscious they will be at disadvantage compared to others at endgame. The escape plan of Marcella would fail if Marcella didn't win the trial.
Imagine not noticing the evidence that not only confirms the victim's full alibi (including the action they died), but also implicates the real culprit to some degree
