You should have meowed, this always does the trick. Not that you could have had sexier cat ears than mine tho

1) First, you must find the body, including all pieces of it if the body is dismembered, and figure out who the victim was.

2) Next, you need to figure out exactly how the victim perished.

3) Then you must not only identify the weapon used to kill them, you must also FIND the weapon.

4) Finally, once you have done all that, you must find the real exit.

We might be looking for something related to Lettie or Vesper. Caleb and caine are probably not the murderers unless they were in it together (it would be difficult to distinguish who the real killer is otherwise)

Action 1, I was outside the river of desire. Wanted to check something about it out. It might be relevant next trial, but not this one.
Action 2, I went to the coliseum to check it out. I found a trash bag and something that looked like a black puddle.
Action 3, I looked inside the bag. Surprise surprise, there was a body, but it wasn't Xander's -- it was Lettie's. I decided to leave it behind, and tripped on the black thing on my way out, so I took that with me instead and went to the resting area, which was empty.

Can I ask what was the black thing?

Hm? Oh, no clue.

Thought it could've been some sort of like...scale? Probably has some sort of connection to Vesper, but I'm not sure it's important. It might be, but that's a question for them.

It’s a shame that we don’t get to investigate those places again. There might have been something useful there

You head for the storage. It seems that everything that was taken from here in previous nights has been returned, you notice as you begin searching for goggles and a snorkel. You do not find a snorkel, but you do find goggles, which you slip on and head for the pool.

The lights are already on, so you head straight for the pool, fit your goggles over your eyes and dive in....only to emerge flailing a few moments later because you can't hold your breath for longer than a few seconds. Also, the water is FREEZING.

You head into the freezer. It looks no different than it did before...minus the fact that there are what look like...body bags on the previously-empty hooks. Counting then, you realise there's nine of them...you decide against opening them.

You reach for the body bag...but don't get to make contact when something snatches you up and lifts you high into the air by the back of your neck. You are promptly carried out of the freezer and dumped unceremoniously on the floor, where you glare up at Vesper, who just dragged you out.

At first glance, nothing seems out of place in the entertainment area. Until you realise that the TV in the games area is on, though it shows only static, and a VR headset is sitting in front of it, apparently having just recently been used. You approach the headset and pick it up, nothing seems off...then you hear a wet squish from the floor, and you look down to see....eyes. A pair of eyes, staring back at you. Ew....

No. Not doing the X-ray thing. You can, however, check the washing machines. Most of them are fine, clean and waiting to be loaded with dirty laundry, but as you approach the final dryer...it suddenly whirrs into life. and you can hear a hollow thunk-thunk-thunk as the drum inside spins. You try to look through the window on the front...but is completely obscured by a thick, red residue.

The machine finally whines to a stop and the door pops open...a severed head dropping out at your feet.

You investigate the kitchen, but find nothing out of place. You also find a bottle of alcohol and a lighter, which promptly gets snatched out of your hands by, guess who.

(Okay I legit laughed at that. Though shouldn't Angelina's body not be there as they stayed alive although in a different world? I am still somewhat suspicious from there, which is why I went slightly creative about it although not sure if it would succeed.)

You reluctantly pick the head up, grimacing as you do so. It's impossible to tell who it was, or even if it was a man or a woman, the head has been so badly mutilated. You do, however, notice it has no eyes or tongue. You also notice that the head feels...squishy, like there's something wrong with the skull.

You find nothing on the VR set except for a few specks of blood and...eye goo. It seems the headset itself is not functional as putting it on does nothing except make you blind and trip over your own feet like the moron you are. The tv does not respond to you.

You pick one of the eyes up and investigate it. It's an eye. It's round. It's goopy. It's squishy. Colour-wise, it does not match any of the hosts, present or past, but you're 99% sure they belonged to a fellow guest.

You look inside the machine...and immediately regret it. It looks like some kind of...meat grinder in there. It's...it's bad. You also notice strands of dark hair strung throughout it.

check if the eyes have any signs of being damaged (physical wounds, chemical burns, anything).

Look for any signs of blood or murder being committed here. If I find anything, investigate it in detail.

It's on the inside of the headset and on the spot where you find the eyes. Nowhere else. It looks like the eyes were just...plopped in there.

The eyes are bloodshot, badly. They're also slightly cloudy.

There is no indication anything like that happened here.

You sniff inside the machine and recoil. Yeah, smells like an abattoir in there, so definitely blood. You do not see any other...bits in there.

You know the hair is dark, either black or dark brown, but the eye colour is undetermined. You're 99% sure it's a fellow guest.

You consider it being Nyx, but then you remember that xer name isn't on the list of dead players so it can't be xer as xe is still alive...wait, dead players list? How do you know about that?

I have no idea for what else to investigate in this room. If you have any ideas, go ahead.
Trying to figure out the cause of death based on the wounds on the head might be a good idea btw. Is there a chance that the bones in the head were removed? (or sth being wrong with them in general... this could cause the squishiness)

take the biggest cookie from the kitchen and give it to vesper, asking if the bodies belong to the dead participants of the game.
Also ask him to return my booze. (a cookie for some booze seems like a good deal :>)

P.edit: Shouldn’t it be possible to recognize the victim based on their hairstyle? (or at least determine their gender. Beards and hair follicles in specific places might be pretty telling)
