Caine scowls, snapping his fingers which causes a ticket to materialise, hovering just above his outstretched hand.

"I expected some effort, but seems only some of you actually care about your pathetic lives,"

With that, the ticket ignites, a small smoulder at the base that slowly works its way up the enchanted paper, until all that is left is a small pile of ash, quickly scattered on the wind. Caine turns his attention to the group.

"Well, one ticket out of play now, and you only have yourselves to blame. Oh, and just so you know, Zones four and two are now off limits. The final two areas will be opened up shortly,"

Deadly Life - Murder by Death
In Which What Is Hopefully The Final Death Must Be Solved By Our Intrepid Heroes

Another night of fitful slumber passes, interrupted only by the occasional nightmare of the events of these past few days, blood-soaked visions of deceased co-guests and hellish twisted version of the attractions of the theme park. Collectively, the remaining guests get maybe a few scarce hours of sleep between them, so little that when the sun comes up on what they hope is the final day in this abominable place, their movements are rigid, pained, more akin to the reanimated dead than to living people. Yet even in their sleep deprived state, upon gathering in the reception of the resting area, it becomes hauntingly clear just how much of a toll this final night has taken, so few in number that remain. Are the missing...dead?

Questions, it seem, will remain temporarily unanswered, for almost as soon as they have registered their missing comrades, the door opens once more and the walking enigma that is Vesper enters. They're usual emotionless curiosity is replaced by a smirk, though none of the guests dare ask what it is that caused the entity's mirth, nor does the host give them long enough to actually ask anything of them.

"As always, your presence is required. Come with me,"

With that, they turn and make their way out of the door, leaving the guests with no other option but to follow. One contemplates staying behind and ignoring the order, curious as to what the consequences for their insubordination would be, but a quick jab to the ribs by another guest changes their mind and they follow along behind, grumbling the whole while. Just like the prior night, the trip is a short one, following the lead of the host straight to the Dreamscape, one of the more...unusual rides in the park. Though no carriages rumble along the tracks, instead resting quietly at the entrance, awaiting riders that will never come, the inside of the tunnel is dark, but it is where Vesper leads them. Inside the darkened tunnel, the guests are guided by both the silhouette of the host and by the neon glow of the dioramas that line the walls. After a few minutes of walking, Vesper stops, hopping up off the track and onto one of the little alcoves where the diorama rest. There is no sign of the twins.

At least...not at first.

Then there is a sound, back from the way they came, and even in the darkness of the tunnel, the guests can see each other go pale as they realise what the sound is: One of the carriages is coming their way, and at speed. They scramble, quickly jumping up and off the track as the carriage comes careening around a corner and directly at them. One guest, Nyx, is too slow, a deer in headlights who can only scream as the carriage bears down on them, and the others look away, expecting the worst.

A metallic squeal fills the air, making all gathered flinch at the way it pierces their earrs, and then all falls quiet. A few seconds later, the room is filled with cackles, laughter filled with sadistic glee, and the guests turn to see that the carriage has stopped, mere inches from the startled Nyx whose life has no doubt flashed before their eyes, and the source of the laughter is none other than Caleb, holding his sides as he howls with cruel joy from where he's sat in the carriage. Caine is clearly making a point of ignoring his brother as he hops out of the carriage. After taking a moment to calm himself, Caleb also jumps out and goes to stand beside Vesper, who is just giving him a look of "Really?".

"Oh, c'mon, that was funny! The look on their face when they thought they were gonna be pavement pizza!"

"You're an asshole,"

Caleb hums in response, then snaps his fingers. After a second of flickering, the lights come on, temporarily blinding the guests, but once their eyes readjust, they look around, confused. Where's the body? That's when Nyx screams and stumbles back, prompting the guests to look down at the tracks, a gruesome bloody sight at Nyx's feet: It's Erika, and she is quite clearly dead.

"Do we HAVE to investigate this one? Just give the murderer the ticket now, they did the world a favour getting rid of this one,"

"Now now, Caine, you know the rules, they have to investigate the murder. Oh, and by the way, seems two of your group are missing, so guess you gotta find them. Although...I have a feeling some of you know where one of them is,"

He glances up at a now cruelly smirking Vesper and then breaks down into more giggles.

You approach the ride...or more precisely, what is left of it. The entire ride has collapsed, leaving behind a twisted mass of metal, the only bit that's even slightly intact is one of the seating sections, lying off to one side. Approached the remains, you hear muffled shouting. The source? Shoker, who has been tied to one of the seats, upside down, and gagged, by what looks like some kind of vine.

"You should probably let him go now,"

"Must I?"

"Yes,"

"If I must,"

Vesper clicks their nails and the vines pinning Shoker to the seat wither and crumble into dust, releasing him to fall face first to the floor with a yelp.

Shoker has been found and may talk again. One person is still missing.
