I cant use my merit points

Everytime I try to use any of my merit points it tries to make me buy the premium version. If that's what I have to do then that is very dumb as a free to play person I find trying to force premium just so I can use an aspect of the game I was led to believe was free (as using merit points isnt listed on the premium perks so I am led to believe I should be able to spend them regardless) is not right.

This is not a bug, this is intended behavior. Only premium users can use the shop. As a free user, you have the ability to play games after watching an ad, and that's about where the experience ends. If you want a full enjoyment of every aspect of the game, you will have to purchase it.
