Why should the doctor and bodyguard waste a night to protect them-self instead of the other town people, don't target yourself as TP because 1. it waste a night where you could likely protect another person
2. it helps spy knowing who is really immune by the mafia attack.

If you time it right, you can self heal as Doc then next day say 'thanks, doc!' and have the killer not know they hit the doc

If you feel in danger of being attacked, you self-heal or vest. You can't save anyone if you die.

I was able to successfully transport myself with someone who had quit, earlier today. Perhaps it was a glitch, though. Didn't help either way because it was my fifth game in a year and I've always been crap at Trans.

When I know mafia has no Consigliere and neither the mafia nor the NK has a 'target' (revealed mayor, jailor etc.) plus there are still investigatives alive, I try to bait a little (any leads, doused, witched etc.) and then use the selfheal/vest to give the jailor/investigative just another day of gathering information. Thus far it has proven itself quite useful and often I do get attacked, however that's in All Any and not in Ranked.
