The kidnapper

Sort of like a Mafia Jailor role the kidnapper will choose one person a day (3 uses) to drag into his house and not to let out. Their avatar will be missing from the town but no announcements will be made. They won't be able to participate in the morning chat or votes and will be released on a night to use their night ability.

This role will be unique and if hung will leave behind a note with the first or last letter of a random member of their mafia.

Seems like this would really cause people to be more careful with not choosing names with similar starting/ending letters. Not sure if it would be good to add that dynamic to the name-choosing phase

I suggest you to use the format given by the ri mods

and also, there is already a posted role similar to a jailor (warden is the name) that is aligned mafia.

and also, having that revealing last letter or something is very very unecessary, that attribute makes this role dangerous to fellow mafia members

state your reasons why this role is needed

In addition to what others have said, I want to also mention that you shouldn't include RNG in a role; it takes away from the strategy aspect of the game because it starts becoming more chaotic. Also, don't mention existing roles that incorporate RNG (such as the Crusader) as a counterargument. Those roles shouldn't be in the game.

RNG is never good for any strategy based game. Please learn the definition of what that means, especially if you're one of the people constantly defending it.
